Hip hop got so big and was dominating the charts, you look kinda stupid saying half the Billboard charts isn't music and they are listing the songs you say isnt music AS MUSIC. Why is it on the charts if its not?
Also, the Source Awards and the BET awards were getting huge ratings and would eventually rival the ratings of the Grammy's. They wanted that audience. The Grammys are just an extension of white supremacy. White supremacy recognizes money and/or violence to get respect.
