[Stan Zero]

The new Game of Thrones series House of Dragons has been airing with a decent amount of praise on it. The Lord of the Rings show, The Rings of Power is doing quite well too. But, what show is the better of the two? I honestly have yet to check out either, so I will reserve my judgement until later. But my instinctual guess would be that the new GoT show is better. I was never too into Lord of the Rings anyway, but I understand its popularity.

What would you pick? And feel free to list other similar shows if you don't like either of these ones.

I watched the LotR movies and did enjoy them but I have no interest in going deeper into that universe. I never watched GoT but I would be more likely to watch House of Dragons in the future than tRoP.

Not feeling the Rings of Power. I like that they are making characters black now but the writing and plot is a bit corny to me. Can't get into it. I liked the original Lord of the Rings series though.

On a side note for Game of Thrones, a few things I would change. Catelyn Stark. In the book she was far, far prettier. The one in the series wasn't that attractive and can't see why Littlefinger would be in love with her. Sansa is supposed to have looked like her a bit, they should have made her prettier.

The prequel is good and has black characters. Black actors who are going to play characters that were seen as white, gotta expect the backlash from racists. Some act all 'oh my goodness, why they hate me'. You gotta have a 'F*ck you if you don't like it' attitude. The main black actor is on that tip a little and I like that .
