I'm trying to cut it from my diet.
What do you use do you replace the meat?Too much unfortunately, but not excessively. I rarely eat pork though, especially since I limit my pizza consumption to about one time a month. I eat meat maybe once or twice a week at the most, but I gotta trim that to once a month.

I agree but the price of meat out here skyrocked so I was thinking about getting used to eat less.I eat meat every single day but not red meat. I eat mostly chicken and fish and have red meat once a week if that.
I don’t see how giving up meat is healthy especially when you exercise a lot because you need protein and I think it’s best to have a natural source for it.
So my order of meats is as such:
Chicken
Turkey
Fish
Beef
Before someone says “fish ain’t meat” that ain’t true…the catholic church was pivotal in reclassifying fish as something else so that they could still eat it in times where they had to give up meat. It was a finesse.
Yeah then definitely reduce it, no need to inflate your budget just to eat meat.I agree but the price of meat out here skyrocked so I was thinking about getting used to eat less.
I had a meatless burger on a gluten-free bun in Connecticut…it was like biting into a stack of cardboard. I was in the restaurant likeLI usually stick to chicken and fish but I'll have red meat about once every couple of weeks. I try to stay away from too much red meat and pork for health reasons. There's a lot of good meat alternatives out there but you have to sift through the bad stuff to find the good lol
I went gluten-free when it was the big craze. I lasted less than 2 weeks.I had a meatless burger on a gluten-free bun in Connecticut…it was like biting into a stack of cardboard. I was in the restaurant likeL
It's a lot better now!I went gluten-free when it was the big craze. I lasted less than 2 weeks.
Eating gluten free anything is like eating sandpaper. No thank you!
What do you use do you replace the meat?
I'll take your word for it, playboy! View attachment 102
Life without meat is not worth living but chicken prices is sky high in my hood so I don’t think ima have to figure out a plan b. My cholesterol too high to switch to red meat.I'm trying to cut it from my diet.
I'll say something rather controversial... I actually enjoy those Morning Star veggie burgers (and have some in my freezer right now). LOL! They don't try to taste like a burger but I can eat them with some onion, ketchup, and pickle and they do taste good. It is a healthy option when you are trying to cut back on red meats.
Around here it seems to be LOL
It ain't that controversial lol....they got a bunch of flavors too.
How you make your steak? Skillet, broiler, or grilled?4 days a week. Usually sausage or chicken. Once in a while I make a steak or order a hamburger.
You got meat in your mouth every day huh?Everyday
Pause
I use a cast iron skillet and sear each side for a couple of minutes, then throw it in the oven until for 5 more minutes. It usually comes out pretty goodHow you make your steak? Skillet, broiler, or grilled?
That sounds pretty good. I only know how to make a good steak on the grill. I need to learn how to make one on a skillet.I use a cast iron skillet and sear each side for a couple of minutes, then throw it in the oven until for 5 more minutes. It usually comes out pretty good
Which cut do you usually get? I always get the ribeye and as long as you don’t overcook it, it’s good. That sounds pretty good. I only know how to make a good steak on the grill. I need to learn how to make one on a skillet.
I get in this order Filet Mignon, Tri Tip, Ribeye, New York Strip. I don’t like fat. I usually use salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, then put it on the grill.Which cut do you usually get? I always get the ribeye and as long as you don’t overcook it, it’s good.
I season it with kosher salt, black pepper, garlic and onion. Ive never added rosemary or thyme like the recipes call for.
Man, the fat is the best. The filet has that great texture tho. But that fat... :wow:I get in this order Filet Mignon, Tri Tip, Ribeye, New York Strip. I don’t like fat. I usually use salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, then put it on the grill.
I can do a little marbling but the big ass strips of fat that you get on some ribeyes.Man, the fat is the best. The filet has that great texture tho. But that fat... :wow:

I know I am skeptical of eating meat now because I think some of this stuff is lab meat masquerading as real meat.
Dye it, fry it, lay it to the side, red beans and gravy, I AINT TOO LAZY!
Good one. HIgh class.I’m not bougi, I’m premium.
I need to.I'm trying to cut it from my diet.
Good idea. I try hard not to eat pork as much, but you do know pork is in so much stuff. It is ridiculous how much stuff pork is in that is not even related to meat.Too much unfortunately, but not excessively. I rarely eat pork though, especially since I limit my pizza consumption to about one time a month. I eat meat maybe once or twice a week at the most, but I gotta trim that to once a month.
I know one thing... many of these vegans look funny AF to me. I refuse to be one of these folks who 100 percent doesn't eat meat. I love eating chicken, fish and beef. I eat turkey when I have that opportunity. I definitely try to make sure I intake an appropriate amount of protein.I eat meat every single day but not red meat. I definitely wouldn't use any of these fake vegan meats. I think those are lab grown meats. Probably put together with meat glue. What do you use do you replace the meat?
Yeah to each their own but outside of having to do it for my health I would never be vegan. There is nothing like some good ol meat.I know one thing... many of these vegans look funny AF to me. I love meat. In fact due to my new chronic illness, veggies is good, but meat is perfect. It never spikes sugars in my bloodstream.Yeah to each their own but outside of having to do it for my health I would never be vegan. There is nothing like some good ol meat.
