Did any of ya'll go out to vote, and what are you expecting to get for your vote?
I thought that only Ohio had a big election today. I didn't even know that there were primaries today. Which other states are voting today?

I would love to see us put out local (city council, mayors, etc) candidates who are B1. That is feasible and doable. Mad respect to Marcel Dixon, hope he continues. I also think in black districts where we got the numbers we get B1 candidates all across the nation. 150 years ago there was a party nicknamed 'Know Nothing' party that won a lot of local and statewide elections and even had a fairly viable 3rd party candidate for President. Got a fair number of votes. They started grass roots and built on that. The party was a bunch of white boys who were against immigration primarily. But I mention it as a strategy. If we control the local school board, city councils, etc and replicate this all over the country where we can, do what we did with Marcel and fund them, maybe see some things happen.

I'm pretty sure it was only Ohio. We voted down Issue 1.

Context: Issue 1 would have changed the threshold to put Ohio constitutional changes or any Ohio issues of merit on the ballot from 50%+1 to 60%.

Supporters of Issue 1 wanted to push this whole "it should be hard to change the constitution because it's so important to our lives blah blah blah" and "we need to put a stop to special interests and upping the threshold does this" bullshit narrative. Unfortunately for them, the people figured out that this actually gives rich people and special interests more than enough opportunity to fuck over the people but I digress and the people were like....but you ARE the special interest....you're literally trying to run game on us Right TF NOW. And as effed up as Ohioans are, I gotta hand it to these people, they weren't buying it and voted against it.

It would have been a shit show when special interests and millionaires come in and buy their way to that 60% and screw the people over in the process, if it'd passed.
