They're right. They aren't Black. They haven't experienced chattel slavery or police brutality or redlining or etc,etc,etc. We have to stop trying to recruit these fools. Let them drown in their egos & disrespect as we lead the future.
Personally, I rock with Ethiopians heavy, but I also know that some of them are definitely on that View attachment 6010when it comes to Black Americans.
There’s a lot of self-hate and Arab worshipping on that side of the continent. Just like a Black person here would hit you with the “I’m mixed with X” them fools over there will be like “I’m part Arab”. Especially those Habesha who may have the most exotic look of them all. They look down on all other Africans even other ethnicities in Ethiopia. Total clown behavior.
Ethiopians see themselves as a complete different ethnic group/race. A lot of them. Not all but way too many.
Putting on my nerd hat for a minute, the Japanese are like that as well. They don't see themselves as Asians. They are Japanese. They don' t see themselves in the same group as the Chinese or Koreans. Its why they could conduct so much brutality against other Asians in WW2.
Some cultures are like that. They have that 'I'm not black I'm OJ' mentality.
