Hey guys, so my work moved me to online work recently and I was thinking about making a quick spotify playlist of music, mostly hip-hop, but without any vocals. I tend to procrastinate more if there are lyrics, so do you guys know of any good hip-hop instrumentals that I can listen to as background noise when I do my work? I want to listen with vocals, but I will often focus on the lyrics while working and it takes me out of my work if anything.

It doesn't have to just be hip-hop instrumentals, just anything that's mostly chill.

I love listening to this kind of stuff because it’s entertaining but doesn’t ask you to pay attention to it. I only write markup nowadays but definitely can’t do it bumping DMX.

I can't believe I forgot about the lo-fi hip-hop playlists on YouTube. I used to listen to that channel ages ago, for sure going to add that too.

Yeah, I can't focus if there's vocals, because I start to pay attention to the lyrics. I found in the past that it just made me take even longer to do my work, so decided instrumental or nothing with vocals at all. Plus it's great to listen to if you want to relax as well.
