So we have a few local spots that I got to on a weekly basis. One of them being a Dollar Tree. In the last 2 weeks, that store has been closed 6 days. They keep closing cause no one wants to work there. I noticed even our local postal shop was closed too! Like it showed the business hours and it was meant to be open but no one was there. I had to drive an extra 15 min out of my way to drop off a package that needs to be returned.

One of the ladies I saw at the gas station was saying how more and more places are going to be closing down and only going to be open a few days a week if people aren't working for these businesses.

Where have all the workers gone? We had people complaining they couldn't find jobs and now no one is wanting to work?

When COVID first hit a lot of people did not go back to work and got used to not being slaves to a job. That why there are worker shortages everywhere. I took of 9-months myself and it was hell going back to teach for CPS after that. They do not give a damn about Black Children and use principals as overseers to make life miserable for teachers. I want to start my own school at some point and make sure that along with the academics they have life saving skills like swimming and some sort of trade even for very young children.

It's not that no one is wanting to work, it's that no one wants to work 40 hours a week and still can't afford to pay rent. You mix that pitiful pay, horrible work conditions, plus stimulus payments removes the reliance on crap jobs. This is why UBI is never going to happen until the job economy is no longer sustainable and bottoms out. If they bring in UBI too quickly the labor source will be dead and bringing in a bunch of immigrants probably wouldn't be sustainable. You need a consumer base and if that consumer base is a bunch of low paid immigrants and UBI recipients the economy will die.

The simple truth is that the pandemic of coronavirus showed everyone and the whole world that you can actually work for yourself from home specifically and still make decent amount of money that's going to be able to pay your bills without having you enslaved to a boss who talks down on you and downgrade you especially them Whites.

My brother's full time job now is trading cryptocurrency. He even had to quit his job for it because according to him, he's getting stressed for something that's not worth the pay he's getting. He showed me his portfolio last month and he's got over $50,000 in his spot wallet in USDT. I'm still working on getting taught by him on how he's doing it.

A lot of these spots are understaffed so the load is being pushed on the employees.

I mean if you have a means not to work for these corporations, it is the smart move to back out of them. They treat people like ish.

The jobs that pay aren't having these problems
Season 1 Lol GIF by NBC

You can see how much they hate their jobs when you’re there. It’s actually very sad the dead look in their eyes as they slide your items over the scanner. Getting paid pennies to deal with sometimes difficult people all day.

Pre Covid it was always an aspiration for many but the forced reality of involuntary austerity compelled many to take the plunge and were pleasantly surprised and haven't looked back.

I feel like everything in 2020 just proved to a lot of people how companies don't value you them as people. They just want workers and they won't be willing to stick their necks out for anyone. So many people lost their jobs. Now companies are complaining they can't keep staff... Well, maybe you should have treated employees better and paid them better.
