The Citizenship Clause provides a broad definition of citizenship, nullifying the Supreme Court's decision in Dred Scott v. Sandford(1857), which had held that Americans descended from African slaves could not be citizens of the United States. Since the Slaughter-House Cases(1873), the Privileges or Immunities Clause has been interpreted to do very little.

First, white people obsess on slavery times because they envy the white slave owners. Think about it, they envy that you can literally do whatever the f*ck to a black person with no ramifications.

Most white people are scared of blacks, especially in numbers. They think about this "200 years ago, I could do whatever I want to this black person here. Anything. And there isn't a god damn thing they could do about it'. That's how they think. Depending on what their perversion is, child molestation, rape, sadism, pedophilia, whatever, they could do it on their plantation and trust me, these white folks LOOOOOONG for that. They envy the slave masters so much.

Second thing is revisionist slavery. They want to over time minimize the savagery of slavery so that we don't use it and so that their future kids don't have any guilt and can practice white supremacy to the fullest.

Black folks shouldn't be supporting any slave movie we don't make. You think Jews put up with any narrative if Jews are the topic of a movie and they have no say in how its showed? Or gays? Or feminism? We are the only ones who routinely have our history made without us having much involvement other than acting and how that character is portrayed is up to the white director or a black bootlick who the producer tells to portray a certain way (Harriet Tubman movie)

I think they are trying to keep us in a certain mindset. The majority can't focus on progressing because they keep looping us back to slavery. Also, looping us back to slavery doesn't allow exploration of our history before enslavement. It would be different if it was a documentary or a dramatization of a specific place or event, but it's the same stories pushed to us with different actors, etc. You'd think people would be tired of it.

To the other point brought up in the thread. We aren't under chattel slavery any more, but most are definitely mentally enslaved. However, I wouldn't dare compare what I'm going through to what my ancestors went through.

It is preposterous and outright disrespectful how whites scream and foam at the mouth with anger and annoyance whenever we call them out on their continued societal evils and the barbaric enslavement of our tortured, abused ancestors. They don't even like it when we call out the demonic behavior of today's modern race soldiers (police) and racist civilians (Karens and Kyles). In regards to American chattel slavery and other horrors, whites and white-identified others basically tell us, "It was 200 years ago, get over it already. If the past was really the past and we should get over it, then what is the point of historians, researchers, museums, Nazi memorabilia, WW2 memorabilla, learning about the Holocaust, learning history, that Jan 6th insurrection, postcards of Black people being lynched with smiling white demons surrounding their dead stiff bodies like they caught a great white shark, keeping and passing down old Klan robes and whips to white progeny, bringing up something that happened 5 minutes ago, etc? These whites leech off the Black blood, meat, energy, forced labor and sacrifices of our tormented, enslaved ancestors while spitting out their delicate bones like yesterday's garbage. That led to an interesting conversation I was having with myself last night about what would represent anti-black hate speech? Because even the President Joe Biden has written off the Confederate flag as NOT being representation of racism..... THEY HAVE EVERY EXCUSE...
