In America, Blacks were denied fighting against White boxers for a while until John Johnson and a few others. They already knew they'd lose badly in the era of Jim Crow and lynching.
FBAs, Caribbean blacks, South American blacks pretty much come from the same region of west and southwest Africa.
The DNA is strong in all of us. There are variations of course. I said this in another thread, the west African phenotype is the world's greatest human in terms of physicality. We jump higher, run faster, and are stronger than EVERY OTHER HUMAN. The big mystery is why we aren't the ones flipping the supremacist discussion.
We are as smart or smarter than most. We have various mixtures (indigenous blacks in America's Florida and SE mixed in, other DNA in other areas of the Americas) but the west African DNA is a very powerful. one There is a reason why Cuban and Puerto Rican boxers are the next best after Blacks. They have the highest percentage of west African DNA in the spanish speaking Americas.
There is a famous (among boxing aficionados) boxing analyst name Bert Sugar and someone asked him why America hasn't been producing great heavyweights and he said "They are all playing linebacker in the NFL". We no longer have boxing gyms and boys clubs, like YMCA, CYA and other programs that were around 50 years ago. Also, prisons stopped having boxing programs. Some of the best boxers ever came out of the prison or juvenile detention system (Bernard Hopkins, Sonny Liston, Rubin Carter, Mike Tyson).
Real talk, I've said this in another thread, hate all you want (justly) about how too many of them are on some other ish but if that country of 200 million had the infrastructure they would run sports. They got over 4 x the black population of America and possess a great phenotype (no homo). Senegal is up there as well. The gold coast , where most of us came from is how we got that power. Ghanaians are a bit smaller on average when compared to Nigerians but would tear up the middle weights and lower.
Jamaicans are faster than anyone else they just decided that was how they were going to get paid and get off the island. Just like how basketball was actually dominated by inner city east coast Jews up through the 40s but since the late 60s brothers in the inner city decided that was the sport for us and no longer baseball.
As a collective (Africa and the diaspora), if we had the infrastructure of China and Russia and gave incentives early on to those that excelled in whatever, we'd completely and unequivacably dominate. No question whatsoever and any white man who says otherwise knows he's full of sh*t and trying to convince you and himself otherwise.
Marathons are already dominated by east Africans because they have that phenotype and just like Jamaica and now the other islands, decided that was how they were going to get the bag (American college track scholarships, shoe deals, world travel).
