Moreover, I am cognizant of the interrelatedness of all communities and states. I cannot sit idly by in Atlanta and not be concerned about what happens in Birmingham. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. Never again can we afford to live with the narrow, provincial “outside agitator” idea.

This part has been our downfall as Black people. We don’t see each other as one, we feel that an injustice happening to another Black person is an isolated event. We’ve been thinking this way for a millennia if not more and we’ve lost everything because of it. It’s short-sighted and cowardly.

King’s words after his pivot were so powerful and damn near poetic. He was every bit as uncompromising as Malcolm but I feel that he was more nurturing in his words. MLK would frame things as:

If we want to peace as a nation we must bring justice. All nations have fell from internal struggle

Definitely a VERYYYYY deep thoughts about this letter and the 3evils speech and the break down of it brilliantly put down by the professor of black truth has me in full comprehensive understanding of #cutthecheck my elders couldn't bc of lack of knowledge or heart or both tell this truth .... Sad to say I'm one years old at 47 smfh in regards to the full order of how we were robbed murdered and raped on a economic spiritual and social platform and as a zoo experiment for these white supremacists...

The thing that really kills me is we have boot licks like this one here Reverend Lightfoot wonder if he's any relation to Mayor Lightfoot or former mayor I should say I would not be surprised but the thing that kills me is I wonder how many of our elders was listening to crap like this clown was preaching I wonder if they even supported his protest against King see these are the things that we work informed on and these things are very very important and vital because if I knew this coming out of elementary school going to a goddag on elementary School called Thomas Jefferson elementary School figure the irony and that to hold them hands with my white classmates who was probably being taught at home f*** those n***** sad reality

Brother I had the same realization after watching both the PBT and TBA broadcasts over the weekend. I was parts hurt, sad, confused, wanted to cry but also felt strong, proud, and fierce that I’m continuing the legacy of a warrior.

We knew who the bootlicks were too! John Muir Elementary & William McKinley Elementar. They were exiled from any of our activities. I'm gonna leave it at that. Can't afford anymore infractions.
