It seems that Jason Black was accurate with his discussion of the Mega-warehouse/fulfillment center explosion. Today, warehouse space is selling at a premium, and wiping out Black neighborhoods. Have you seen this?

Great thread bruh and I think he was 100% accurate. We’ve seen these fulfillment centers serve the same role as a football stadium, a great opportunity to wage economic warfare against Black people.

We’ve had this happen a bunch in CA. In my town, we didn’t get an Amazon warehouse but we got a Mercedes Benz one and they gentrified the fuck out of the area. All these weirdos started moving in, there was new retail and commercial property build around it and the price of everything shot up. Just getting lunch in that area is a $25 dollar affair. I get why this happens but it doesn’t make it right.

People sometimes underestimate the value of the location of that old house that was left to them.
A guy I went to school with grew up in a one bedroom house about twenty steps down from the street - a real junker that his father built after WWII. A few years ago the university offered him $900k!!
