Well shit, I hope they're paying for the rest of his life, because to be stuck in prison for 36 years for something you didn't do, has got to bring a man down. And the fact that there are probably tons more men just like him rotting away in jail because of false allegations or having a bad defense.
He was only 17 when he went in too, now he's 53 years old. They took this kids life away, and also most of his young adult life. During that time he could have graduated high school, then college, then setting down into a job, start a family, etc. He's at an age where most would already be a grandfather, or even a great grandfather. They took that away from him.
I hope the state takes care of the guy, and by take care of him, pay him for each year he was illegally incarcerated for.
