We finally got a new 2D side scrolling Metroid and I am so happy. It just came out recently too and I hope to pick it up soon. I never could get into the 3D Metroid games, just wasn't my thing. My friends loved it, but me, nah. I like the traditional 2D Metroid. Give me that and I will be very happy. Anyway, who here is picking this game up? Are there any fans of Metroid here?

Wow, this takes me back! I loved playing the one on SNES. It was one of few female characters back then so I was so invested in this game. I loved Samus. I think I might just have to give this game a try!

I want it but I dont know if I want to play it out of genuine interest or nostalgia. I never was the hugest Metroid fan, loved the lore but not the game too much. I didnt even like Metroid Prime.

I have already purchased the game but I'm yet to start playing it. I always have this habit of never playing any games that I have purchased immediately. Some of them might take up to 4 months before I start playing them.

metroid fusion and zero mission are better 2d metroid i started it but just didn't come back to it

My little brother plays the game but it's not the kind of video game that interests me, otherwise I would have joined him in it a long time ago. I'm more of a Red Dead Redemption 2 kind of game lover and Skyrim too.
