Straight facts. The millionaires are pissed with the billionaires and vice versa. The millionaires want more money because the nature of the game has changed (which it has) and it's upwards of billions being made but, it's not like they can't live off the 30-40M/yr that they make so it's hard to feel bad for folks who just want to be closer to the billionaires. Meanwhile the billionaires want to dip into some semblance of a salary cap. In theory, a cap would be good so that the big market teams like NY and BOS and LA and HOU aren't running roughshod over the smaller market teams who can't compete on that level buuuuuut, the truth is they want a salary cap system that leans their way so they can exploit the system and underpay for labor while pocketing the rest for themselves. It’s a struggle as tried and true as time. The MLB wants more teams and more games and the Players want more money quicker and more flexibility. We’ll see who is going to default on their Ferrari first.
Although they are millionaires I can never side with capital against labor it’s just a losing bet for all of us. Not saying you’re doing that just saying in general.Straight facts. So like Honorable said, whoever get repo'd first will give in first.
I feel you and I agree with you totally. But this is also a situation where both sides are trying to pose as if they're trying to do "what's best for the game" when in REAL LIFE, they're just trying to line their own damn pockets at the other side's expense.Although they are millionaires I can never side with capital against labor it’s just a losing bet for all of us. I agree with that, it’s all about the money with “what’s best for the game” PR tacked on.I feel you and I agree with you totally. It’s like watch paint dry anyways so not that big of a lossBaseball hasn't been the same since they started pushing out all the American Blacks. I don't watch much anymore. Used to coach but got tired of being around all them white kids. Would love to coach a team of Black kids or even play in an all Black men''s league
