What are some movies and tv shows that haven't aged well at all? Basically movies that were fine 10-20-30-40+ years ago, but today many would probably deem offensive.
I recently tried watching Blazing Saddles. I remember watching it as a kid, and back then I didn't think much of it. But after watching like 20 minutes, I'm like, this wouldn't be able to release today. I still find it to be one of my favorite movies, but there's no way a film like this, could be made today. And on top of that, the movie was rated G at release, and on HBO Max it shows as rated R.
Shallow Hal is another I doubt would ever be made again, mainly for the way it makes fun of obese people. It's also a shit movie so there's that lol. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective makes a trans person the villain, and there was a few others movies and shows that I'm sure I forgot. Driving Miss Daisy is another I would add to the list.
