My guy Pro Basketball Updates just dropped a gem in this video. Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics is the Vice President of the National Basketball Players Association which is the NBA player's union. Many ball players are not with the suspension of Kyrie Irving and are making their voices heard.
He didn't say anything antisemitic. He literally just shared a link. If you can't do that without fear of being cancelled then we don't have free speech!
Even he had said something anti semetic it's covered under free speech. I wouldn't agree with it.
People say anti black racist things all the time and it's just said that it's free speech.
As a person who served in the military, I feel like I served for protection of all speech not just what I agree with!
The whole situation is bogus. As I understand it both the book and the documentary have been out for a while, but there are only complaints now? The whole thing stinks.
The Nets just want to get rid of Kyrie Irving because he stood his ground during Covid. They weren't anticipating him re-signing for another year so they were waiting for him to go off script. This was a total set up.

And of course he gave a non-apology. Outside of a measly fine, the Eagles did not force Riley Cooper to go on apology tour, donate over $500,000 to Black grassroots organizations, meet with Black churches leaders and Black grassroots activists, etc. No non-stop hit pieces or character assassination. No demands for the Eagles to get rid of him. No suspensions without pay either. Nope, none of that. They treated each racist incident he was involved in as an "isolated incident" that did not reflect Riley Cooper as a person or white people as whole. In fact, the dominant society immediately put Riley Cooper's racist antics behind them and Philadelphia Eagles continued allowing Riley Cooper to play for the Eagles until his comfy retirement in 2017. He is now living a "peaceful life" and catching fish while dressed as and looking exactly like the white racist conservative male that he is and always was.
Riley Cooper didn’t use any racial slurs this time, but he did managed to anger another teammate at Eagles practice Thursday. Cooper, who made plenty of enemies – including many on his …
