I liked the first Hellraiser and maybe the second, but everything that has followed I either passed on, or watched 5 minutes of and said nah. Anyway, this new Hellraiser movie on Hulu actually looks pretty good. The designs of the cenobites look creepy enough to me. And I don't mind they replaced pin-head with a woman instead. Still kinda works. Any Hellraiser fans in here interested in this? Or is this one going to be a pass for you?

I like Hellraiser, but I'm tired of reboots in general. The Hellraiser Universe is so vast they could have made a new movie with some Cenobites only seen in the comics, or some completely new ones.

I'm a huge fan of the original, 1 and 2, after the second one they kinda got korny. But I'm glad to see Clive Barker involved with the 2022 version. A lot of people can't watch these films, too weird for them, I like how original the concept is, this 2022 trailer looks pretty good, I hope the movie is as well.

Pinhead is a woman in the books apparently, so I suppose they’re just following the source material. I’m goin to watch it, but I don’t have high hopes for it. I loved the original, so I’m going to try my hardest not to compare this with the original.
I'm interested in checking it out. I didn't know before that pinhead was originally female. I watched a few of the original movies, the first 4 maybe. The first one is the only good one imo, but even that wasn't as good as I expected. Though the practical effects are pretty cool for the time.
I saw the next three in the series and I hated those ones. And I hear they gradually kept getting worse and worse with each new release. But this one looks to be going back to what worked.
And it coming out on Hulu makes it easy for me to tune in.
