here come the bad faith arguments. I dunno who Douglass Murray is, or who sent him, but man he must really be angry that Black folks tryna get something for ourselves. You can feel the vitriol in these false stats and straw man arguments. This is an unprovoked attack, and we must've really stirred up a hornet's nest if they felt like they could no longer ignore us. THis reeks of desperation..which I guess makes sense.

This is definitely an old trope super remixed for the purpose of moving the goalposts.
The old trope is angry black person when you call out what's being done and when you state how you want the situation rectified.
Also they used to say crazy things like the country is too broke to pay reparations moreover what are we going to do with the money.
As Jason Black stated we are beating them in the realm of intellectual combat by directly condeming and denouncing those false narratives with facts.
Every time we flex our muscle it's seen as hate or revenge. They can kiss our ass though.

Please do not support NYPost. NYPost is a racist, anti-Black propaganda mill and is proudly a part of the global misinformation system to spread and reinforce dangerous stereotypes about Black people.

Also, I find it amusing that NYPost is a republication / conservative toilet paper roll ~~publication~~, yet a few weeks ago I shockingly saw them caping for the LGBTCNN+ communtiy and they actually posted sensational stories about LGBTQABCFOXNEWS+ people getting abused and being victims of hate crimes. All while making sure to never showcase any stories of Black people being attacked, terrorized, and victims of hate crimes. They mostly if not only show and report on stories that make all Black people look stupid and crazy or seem like we are all criminals and hoodrats. Same with Fox News, local news and nem. The selective and irresponsible reporting is outright criminal and deliberate. Once again, how does this make NYPost any different from liberal / centrist / left leaning platforms such as ABC, CNN, NBC, CBS, Yahoo, and more?

I really don't understand white people, and other ethnic groups. Everybody else can get reparations, but when it comes to black people, blacks can't get anything. And they have the nerve to get indignant at the thought of blacks getting reparations. They don't understand. Slavery wasn't the only thing that black people went through over here. The constant racism and hate after slavery was, and is, something else. People don't understand the black experience. I know when I was a young man, moving to the Bay Area, the racism that I encountered solely due to being a black male was out of control. It was a nightmare living out here when I was a young man. Racism came at me from every conceivable direction. I was totally unprepared for the hatred that I received in the, so-called, "liberal" Bay Area. It was so bad, that I wrote, and published, a book about it.

They really don't tell you in school about the hatred that you will receive being black. I had to figure it out on my own. I had to constantly focus my attention on other things to keep from being another "n****r" behind bars due to the anger because of things that I was constantly going through.

They keep talking about slavery. It's not just slavery, it's slavery and everything after that. For some reason, the thought of blacks being on a level playing field angers the hell out of people. Nothing brings out the animal in other races more than seeing a black person do well. Like I said, I don't understand the anger that other people have at the thought of blacks being given reparations.

my first job in the Bay was for Clean Water Action and we would go up in he Lake Merritt area to canvess. They wouldn't even open the door for my Black ass. My partner was a white guy with blue eyes and blonde hair and he was killing the game. They were een giving him cookies. I got fired after I couldn't make my quotas. The Supervisor played dumb and kept asking me if I stuck to the script, and couldn't "figure out why" folks wouldn't open their doors for me.

Yep. The racism in the Bay Area was, and is, something else. It may have gotten a little better after George Floyd and Covid-19. The Asians out here were some of the most racist people that I have ever encountered. Covid-19 really humbled them. People don't understand, you never know when you could be the "n****r".

Bruh. That's how it is out here. In the Bay Area, there's a caste system that is reminiscent of "Jolly Old England". There were times where I felt like I was living in the twilight zone. It's everybody above you, with Whites being at the top, and blacks, and especially, black men, at the bottom. It's been like that out here for a long time. I was born in the South, where people swear up and down that it's the epitome of racism. However, I didn't go through hardly any of the racism that I went through in the Bay.

Like I said, after George Floyd, and Covid-19, people have gotten alot nicer out here. However, before that, especially when I was in college, it was out of control.

I live in Oakland and the “hater energy” you feel here is palpable. Especially in the gentrified areas but really it permeates everywhere. They are real passive aggressive about their racism but you can sense they don’t like your black ass. Down the street most of the homeless living in tents are black.

Later came to find out via the data that Oakland is actually one of the top 5 most segregated cities in the Bay Area (which is already segregated). “Liberal” is just a symbolic label whites like to give themselves for believing in trite causes. Nothing to do with helping or empowering black folk at all.

Honestly ready to move on up outta here. The idea this is a west coast “black Mecca” is so false it’s too silly to even entertain.

Don’t get me started on the Asians. They’ve seemed to have somehow gotten more racist over time. They used to be somewhat cool and I’d hangout with them as a kid. Now they are just out and out anti-black. No group kisses white ass more.

They also love glomming off our energy when convenient. Even see them ripping our hairstyles. We gotta stop letting other groups glom off us and gatekeep our stuff and our energy. People passive aggressively get mad when I’m out and about because I keep that strong B1 energy about me and they feel left out of something. Black folks acknowledge, non blacks get mad lol.

Learn how to project your energy and speak without speaking. You make alot of people mad. Nothing feels better lol

It’s like the damn invasion of the body snatchers. People act super weird and defensive around you for no reason. They assume you have some low level job. Here's the funny part, he says:

"As I researched these problems for my latest book, I did wonder whether anyone claiming to speak about reparations had done any real thinking on it."

But argues:

"In his (Ta-Nehisi Coates) view, there was a precedent for American reparations in the money paid to Israel after the Holocaust by Germany. But this was a payment made immediately after a genocide, not two centuries after a barbaric trade."

So his argument is basically if the government can deny you justice long enough, it should be absolved of all responsibility for the initial injustice and any "fallout" thereafter. He doesn't seem to realize he is advocating for government unaccountability. As he is questioning whether other people have "done any real thinking on it", I wonder if HE has.

White people literally do a disservice to themselves by going against Reparations. They want a just nation without giving people justice and wonder why there is so much injustice.
