This would be prior to relationship, like what details are discussed in the "talking phase" as it was once called? Finding out likes/dislikes/ what's important can really save ppl time &: energy (in my opinion)

It really depends its right there with the first kiss. You need to take that shit a day at a time and bring it up when yall relationship is at that point where it's not wrong to ask.

Ok but locking lips....now "we" deep in finances (at times this is the outcome) yet no understanding was in play✍️🤔🤷now partners have become enemies (saw it one time too many) hey🤷I'm just making critical, debatable conversation

I watch for conversation starters,
like hobbies that they are overly indulged in. I tend to weed out my suitors by 🚩'$ I see.
If I see him purchasing a pair of new Jordans every other week but lives with a family member.... I'm going attempt to start a financial dialogue to cut that short or our relationship. If I see that they have a lottery addiction, or fastfood addition. Just little red flags that let me know they're not financially mature.
If their throwing money behind things that will not generate revenue and their over 35 this let's me know they might not be in the mindset of nation building like myself.
There are certain ways people who good credit move that are observable when you start dating. Some are by what they have. He's a DHL driver but his apartment is 3k a month and lit in a nice azz building. Car seems leased and its top. etc. His conversation will give you clues.
Having bad credit isn't a crime. Not trying to fix it is a red flag though about how well you will live. And for guys, you may have to deal with a woman with jacked up credit. The thing to look there is she willing to do what it takes to rectify and build. Some women with bad credit will have the mindset, that the man will pay off her bad debt 'if he loves her' and 'accepts her as she is'
There is almost always a difference between couples on how much debt is okay. And what kind. Even if both have good credit. She might not view those rims or college football season tickets to the team you supported since forever, a necessary expense. He might not view the 45k in student loans you owe to Georgia State that is in arrears and that car note as a huge setback to tryna build.
I can tell you this. A good man, even if his credit is not good, will have a plan if he meets wifey because he knows there are other guys out there with better credit and doesn't want to lose her over something like that.
A good woman, even if her credit is not good, will be willing to make some changes to her spending habits, etc, if she knows there are other women out there with better credit and less of an initial financial burden.
I think moving to an exclusive dating relationship that you think the person may be the one, then its on the man to start talking his future plans and credit will work itself into that normally. "I want to get like 2 kids....blah, blah blah" .."Kids, a house is tough these days so it will take a good job, good credit,
