My favorite horror movie is most definitely Get Out. It was not horror in the "Halloween" sense but horror in a WTF sense.
That was my joint too. I loved that movie. Outside of that I have nothing else because I hate horror movies. So many would be resolved with someone shooting the culprit.

Already on my list for Halloween. I try to watch it at least once a year. :)

Yeah, there are so many horror movies that are just downright stupid. From the characters doing stupid things, or sticking around when they should be running away from the area.

My favorites are the older ones like The Exorcist and The Omen. I also ended up liking The Conjuring series but most of the newer horror movies just don't do it for me.
The Exorcist is one of my favorites. The Omen is a great one too, but haven't watched it in years. Might need to change that soon. :) As for The Conjuring series of movies, I could never get into them. They just feel too samey and full of horror cliches. A lot of the newer stuff these days doesn't do it for me either.

But, I did just watch V/H/S/94 and I thought it was alright. I think filming in that "VHS" style made it more scary, because it kinda feels like you could be watching various snuff films or something, and that adds to the spooky factor some.
