I actually loved him as a comedian. He got arrested several times for simply saying things on stage. He was a real dude who didn't hold back and I respected him for that. It was not that long ago either that he was getting thrown in a jail cell. We can't go back to that. I don't care if you are white, black, yellow, or a rainbow dipped in pixie dust we need to make sure comedy does not become a controlled art.

This is why I am thankful for people in comedy like Dave Chappelle who don't apologize or back down. If you can't understand the art form, that is your problem. You can't ruin it for the men and women who are performers or the people who are fans.
