I honestly just feel some people are sitting around making excuses, waiting for a reparations check which in all honesty is likely never going to come.

Maybe reparations come, maybe the don't.

Either way that's not the determination of how my life will look.

I can't control politicians. I can't control the system of white supremacy. I can't control how people feel about reparations.

I can control my contribution to my success.
