I'm in Portland Oregon, We used to have large areas in N. and N.E. Portland that were dominated by black people. over the last 30 years, gentrification erased about 90% of the Black people here, so any area you go to in Portland is a white neighborhood. I don't really worry about being out and about in any area of Portland, it's when you go outside of portland, then you get into klan country and trump country.I hate not seeing any Black people when I make my runs on the weekend, when I do spot one I almost go out of my way to give him/her a nod or a salute when I pass them.
