I didn't think so.
But as a person who has served I thought it was very telling that so many people from different times have experienced similar things in the military.

The military is a bad place. Sadistic, Psychotic people who were bullied in school get promoted and then take it out on their subordinates.

My experience in the military was so similar to his that it was frightening!
