We knew The Game was salty about the Super Bowl performance and 50 Cent being Chosen over him.

According to Wack 100 Jay Z is the one that banned him from the show.

Game is such a child all those “Fuck Jay Z rants came back and bit him in the ass”. Never knew that Jay would be the negro whisperer at the NFL later down the road.

Jay-Z is petty, and I already knew he wasn't going to allow Game to perform. It would have been dope to have 50 and Game perform together at the halftime show, but Jay is just being Jay.

I for one, am exhaust regarding seeing this halftime show in the news. It's becoming a major distraction and some Jay-Z stans are low-key starting to call it a "Win" for black ppl. We gotta check that stuff fast.

I'll be honest, I was never big on Jay-Z as a person. He seems pretty damn childish in his ways. The whole half-time show wasn't about the music or black culture, anything of the sort. It was a way for white liberals to pat themselves on the back for allowing "such a diverse show on the grandest stage of them all". Legit saw this thrown around a number of times. The show was nothing special to me. It wasn't bad but comparing it to MJ and Prince... It was laughable.

Yawn 🥱 🥱 🥱 🥱…..This is so not a good look for Game. Like Jay Z or not, he was smart enough to know he had to OWN things and that music alone could only take him so far as long as he had to depend on white owned radio stations, white owned tv networks and other white owned music platforms like Spotify, Apple, Amazon, etc. to get paid. He tried owning his own music platform, TIDAL and I guess it didn’t succeed in his view so he sold it. He knows OWNERSHIP is key so he focused on things he could own : artwork, champagne, and other things that I forget. He does what he feels he has to do for himself and his black family and damn everybody else in my opinion. Which to some of us is ok and to others he gets the side eye. They don’t say “it’s lonely at the top” for nothing…

It’s why you shouldn’t burn bridges unless you have to. This nigga was burning bridge after bridge when he was on top and then found out 10 years later that the bridge he burned was the pathway he needed to walk. This is a great lesson to not be a hoe ass nigga and to be strategic. Sometimes if you don’t like a nigga keep it to yo’self.

Jay Z was smart enough to diversify and I can’t say if Game did or did not do that but he doesn’t seem to have the disposition of a business owner. He may have some endorsement deals, licensing deals but those fade out as your fame does.

Everyone tolerated that bozo because they had money tied up in his success. 50 even said that he didn’t go hard on him when he was screaming G-Unot because he didn’t want to mess up his own money since he wrote The Game’s biggest tracks.
