Sista it stormed really hard last night and I was surprised the power didn't go out then. Nini and my Granny let me look into units 7Kw to 10Kw and this GE has the best customer service and I love the weekly test that it runs itself. Service it 1 time a year to change the oil and new spark plugs. Stay away from Generac, Crappy service and sub par coils that cause it not to deliver power to some big appliances.
