The people who separated the family structure in the black home and destroyed the fatherhood and father figure of the home knew exactly what they were doing. At this point, I don't think there is much you can do for a lot of the youth. I have had to cut ties with a lot of people I grew up with cause they were just focused on being disruptive and destructive. They didn't want a family or a relationship, they didn't want a career or a house... They just wanted to coast by doing drugs and getting into all sorts of tomfoolery.

This was a planned event. The people who wanted freedom for blacks from slavery saw this coming and did nothing for decades. Why? Cause they likely benefited from it. This is why so many blacks in America are disgruntled and don't trust white people on either side of politics or law.

This is why I always say we have to focus on our families and our own communities. Get these kids out of this mindset. Establish a solid foundation of family. Put the fear of God back in them. No one is going to help this cause and most (even some black folks) will be fighting you the whole way.

It doesn't help when you have white dollars uplifting bad black men and women in the music industry, Hollywood, etc. either which only further influences bad behavior in the youth.

Just my take on it anyway.

You are absolutely correct. Look at the music section on this board. Grown men talking about rap beefs and who versus who. The older generation had seen white violence in its raw form so the mental shock was still fresh. The Civil Rights era, IMHO, are the opportunists that wanted to butcher our community for small concessions and clout.

You are correct 100%

Amandla!

I'll start by what The Honorable has already touched on.

Jesus is/was never a White man. You see paintings and that shapes your view. I saw a Japanese Christ painting in Japan but people never bring that subject up.

Anyhow, if you look in the genealogy of Christ, you can see that he had two grandmother's that were most certainly what we would call Black. Their names are Rehab and Ruth. The Earthly appearance of Jesus would be mixed like everyone of the surrounding nations but darker in complexion than even today's Arabs.

Jews as we see today are mixed. Hasidic Jews are mixed with Slabs from Eastern Europe. Ashkenazi Jews are mixed with Germanic People. Sephardic Jews are mixed into the Iberia people's. Beta Israel are African mixture people, known as the Lemba.

Jesus was not a white man.

I find it funny how people still argue over Jesus' race/skin color. The dude was dark middle-eastern. He wasn't black and he most certainly was not white. The Catholics painted the narrative he was some snow-white dude and a lot of blacks think he is darker than ash. I don't like to get into the discussion of this cause people tend to get their feelings hurt. I don't think his skin color matters personally, what matters is his message and teachings.

Do you really want to exchange ideas about it or have you already made up your mind?

The two religions are not connected and are complete opposites in theology.
I don’t debate dogma just wanted to see where your mind was. I don’t separate Abrahamic faiths from one another.

What is middle eastern? If you look in many countries you call middle eastern you’ll see people phenotypically considered African. You see it Yemen, Saudi Arabia, etc. Are you saying that Jesus looked like an Arab?

Yes, you do debate dogma, Everytime you make a political statement. Seriously, there are two Abrahamic religions and they worship Yahweh. If I can find the name Yahweh in the Quran, then I will think different in terms of a scholarly difference, not a spiritual difference.

Allah, means "The God", which comes from the Arabic noun: ilah, which means god. That's not my God's Name that He gave to Moses in Exodus 3: 14

God said that Yahweh is his name forever. So, where can I find Yahweh in the Quran?
That's a scholastic question and not "dogma".

You jumped up like the mayor's wife to tell me that the two religions are related. Now you cannot even stand on your own statement, which is dogma, in Islam. I am disgusted by your weak mind.

Yes, I am. You have to look way back to who was in those areas and follow the bible on a historical map. A lot of races have gotten lighter over the years. Look at Egyptians and Jews for two examples, they used to be a lot darker. Again though, I don't think his skin color matters.

Well the modern day Egyptians are not the ancient people. The modern day Egyptians came there in 640 AD. The first pyramid was built in like 2600 BC.

In Genesis chapter 10 the grandson of Ham, Nimrod, created the first empire in modern day Iraq. The Middle East used to be as Black as Africa.

Nimrod... That is a name I like to bring up for the Christmas season! LOL

Either way, I don't believe they were black in the same sense. They were much darker for sure but their hair and facial features didn't match those of African descent. That is just my view of it based on what I researched, watched, and read. I used to get into those biblical history shows and find it all fascinating. Regardless of Jesus' color though, his teachings are and what should be all that matters. It is easy to get caught up in his image but what he did is what matters, not what he looked like.

I believe Genesis was before African descendants. Seeing as the ark rested on the "mountains of Ararat".

Why are you glad to bring Nimrod out in Christmas time? LOL

The story of Nimrod in the bible. You ever read it in full? Dude married his mother, died, and she believed he was reincarnated as a pine tree so she chopped it down, brought it in the house, and put gold and silver all over it. This is where we get the Christmas tree from. People always look at me dumbfounded when I bring it up. It is the tree of incest. lol

Africans have every facial feature on the planet. Europeans like to equate Africa with West African so that it can remove the societies that most influenced it away from Africa. That’s why they came up with the term sub-Saharan Africa for one. Then they started classifying some of our languages like Medu Neter as Afro-Asiatic once again to divorce it from Africa. Reason being is Anglo/Germanic society praises Greece as the mother of their civilization but who did Greece venerate? Africans! Well can’t have the “niggas are no good” story reasonate if the niggas showed you math, science, engineering and then you came and had thanksgiving with them and stole their shit.

You are right, it was only passively mentioned in the bible. The details are found in other documentation but the bible does speak about the tree in reference to Semiramis. It has been several years since I talked about it in detail with someone.

    The tree scripture: Jeremiah 10:2-5

"Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good."

This is just a briefing on it: What the Bible says about Nimrod

I have always been fascinated by the stories in the bible being connected with different historical events, cultures, and groups. I believe this reference was to the pagans. They were around prior to Christ and were often called "heathens" in the bible.
