Hollywood, Eddie Cheeba and others. "Rappers Delight" is the song that your parents and grandparents know and possibly had in their record collections at one time. The rhymes contained in that song are possibly the most remembered and repeated in the genre's history, but - as far as the OJ - how many outside of the five boroughs and the tri-state knew the meaning behind what they were repeating? Many thought that it was a reference to the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers running back Orenthal James, but those in the 5 boroughs - specifically the Bronx - knew the origins of those lines.
