That gesture is an intentional middle finger to those aged survivours and is very indicative of the hatefulness of these racist hueless bastards! If there was a shred of remorse or sincerity this racist government would not deliberately defer paying reparations to ALL the victims and not procrastinate in the hope that they'll all die within half a century. I fully support reparations for FBAs only, for a variety of reasons.
1. It's due. 2. To get it, the majority of FBAs will have to be on code and ultimately that is the biggest threat to white supremacy. Black folks being on code. 3. Something that I haven't seen brought up, but trust me, white folks in power are thinking this. I won't say if but WHEN descendants of American slaves and freedmen, get reparations it will automatically ignite and legitimize like claims from the Caribbean and Africa. England and France and to some extent Spain are watching this space close AF. They know if America pays they will have to cut a check because once the Caribbean and African nations see how its done they will want theirs too. 4. It's why non FBAs if you are salty should see the long term game and chess move for what it is. Reparations paid by the American government will ultimately mean reparations for you and the blueprint is already there for you laid out by FBAs.
5. Supporting the reparations for FBAs is being on code bottom line, if you are FBA or non FBA. ANY black person who is salty about it is off code. ANY. In the '80s the diaspora, led by American blacks threatened their governments to boycott any company doing business in then apartheid South Africa. It wasn't just American blacks but it was mainly American blacks. Some Caribbean, UK blacks were on board as well, anyway, no one in the diaspora was getting anything from fighting to end apartheid, it was simply being on code to help black people there. Its the same with reparations.
If you are an FBA coon against reparations or a non FBA against it you are off code, pure and simple. End of story.

On a sidenote, I am very, very skeptical of the reparations movement in the Caribbean. First, it must be said they are owed. American blacks (FBA) are fighting for it purely for the injustice of slavery and to right a past wrong. My guess? The Caribbean islands are fighting for it because they are broke AF. Most of these islands best lands, are owned by foreign companies and people. These are tourist destinations and the big hotel chains own a lot of the great beach front property. Countries like Jamaica with natural resources (bauxite, aluminum ore for example) have sold that out already. They are all in debt, big debt, and the Chinese have come in and bought off what is left. They don't have any real ways of making good money so I think the reparations claims is to get that final bag. Again, reparations are due, but I think their reasons for going for it aren't as pure as FBA/American blacks. Also, from the little I know they haven't discussed HOW the money will be distributed. My guess? They won't give it to the people. My guess is they will squander the money, corruption, etc. like they did with money these islands got in the past from whatever sources. These islands have a lot of Indians and Chinese and some whites who are less than 10 percent of the population collectively depending on the island and I don't hear or see any talk of them suggesting giving direct payments to the blacks who were slaves. I can almost guarantee if there are direct payments, them Indians, Chinese, whites descendants will get it too. But I don't even think it will come to that. They will use the 'education, etc' trick bag thing.
Same goes for African nations if they ever get money for colonization. Anyway, I am of the belief as the reparations movement gets bigger, there will be a change culturally among blacks in America to be on code. It will be reflected in the music, sports, entertainment, the culture as a whole. More miusic closer to Public Enemy and KRS One from way back in the day. Less ratchet stuff. And it will isolate the swirlers and anti black male practioners like Cynthia G. If you look at Tariq's and TBA's subscribers, they have consistently gone up month by month. Cynthia G is stagnant. As that fight progresses it will organically affect all aspects of black culture. You will start seeing it reflected in the music, etc. I think there are real changes happening that we don't talk about enough or promote enough. A few examples:
1. Top black athletes are now attending HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) more ofen. We haven't seen that before. My theory on why is that an 18 year old black HS athlete has seen in his formative years Trayvon Martin which was in 2012 when he was 8 years old. And all the murders since then. He (or she) has seen the BLM marches, a black president. So, all this collectively has made him more pro Black. They have seen NFL and NBA players as well as other people take a knee in protest. So, it shouldn't be surprised when one of the top college football prospects in the country chose Jackson State over Florida State.
2. The fastest growing group of gun owners are black men. Black people are forming gun clubs all over the country. Don't think white men aren't fully aware of it.
3. The subject of reparations has become an issue along with the economy, crime, etc, in the Democratic party primaries. That would have been completely unheard of 5 years ago.
I think we will see other areas where blacks will change in a positive way, music for sure I think.

June 1955 if you asked any black or white person in the south or in America period, Jim Crow will end in 10 years, lynchings will stop, blacks will be going to white high schools and universities in the south, there will be a civil rights and voting rights bills approved by Congress and a white southern President they would say impossible. They would ALL give zero percent chance of that happening.
If you look where blacks were socially and legally at the time, white or black people if asked would say 'maybe' my grandkids' grandkids will see it. Maybe.
In 10 years all that happened.
So, I ask, given that blacks are far, far more powerful than pre civil rights marches America. Our own history is an example. Only a small percentage of Montgomery blacks supported the boycott initially. MLK Jr was told by many in Montgomery to go back to Atlanta. Their reason? They told him if this doesn't work, we will have to deal with the blowback. The police, the Klan, lynchings, etc. Understandable to some extent. What made the bus boycott work is that anyone black who was riding the bus was socially ostracized. His kids went to the same school as the black boycotters, he lived in the same neighborhood, same church, shopped at the same stors his neighbors, many went along not because they believed in it, they went along because they didn't want to be excluded from black society.
Today, more and more traitors and sell outs are being isolated. Case in point, Omarosa. She still can't show herself to the black community.
