The far left, goes after symbolic targets. They generally go after those who they think are inciting it all. Steven Scalise, the Congressman shot, Trump. They go after the specific influencers. Instead of shooting up a Nazi rally in 1930s German, they would go specifically for Hitler seeing the masses as being tricked.
The far right generally goes after the masses. The Charleston church shooting, the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, the gay night club in Florida, the Buffalo shooter of all the blacks. They see the masses as too far gone so they try to 'kill them all'
That's generally how either site of white people operate.
