    I stopped watching the OG series so I don't even know if it is still ongoing. I think I stopped after season 6 I lost interest. I never picked up on any of the other side series. I was looking at releases for next year and spotted this though.

    Basically this is a focus on Rick and Michonne, a "love story". I am not sure how I feel about this.

    Just finished the first episode. It is crazy. The ending of the first episode (no spoilers) is crazy.

    Yeah, they got an agenda with the swirling, and the divestors will love the show. They also milking the Walking Dead with these off shoots (just like Power, Star Wars and to a lesser extent Game of Thrones).

    But it is pretty good... so far.
