I'm really interested in where he's going on this album. Many didn't care for the pseudo New Wave sound on After Hours, but I enjoyed it a lot and believed it was one of the best albums of that year. Usually it takes some time for music to pick up steam but this album coming so early is gonna put a lot of pressure on other popular acts like Kendrick for example.

I tried to listen to some of his work, it's not my taste. Obviously he's doing something right having all of the success he's having. For me I can't listen to him,im pretty particular about who I listen to , the last 10 years or so 90% of what I listen to is Jazz. Not sure if it's my age making my taste change or the new artist just being wildly medeoce to me.

I've listened to jazz and Blues all my life, grew up on it. I just didn't listen to it as much as I do now. For me it just put's me in a good mood, First thing I do when I wake up is grab my coffee, put on my jazz and that sets the tone for the day.

I'll check it out. I haven't really REALLY listened to a Weeknd album since House of Balloons. He's cool, but his stuff is mostly background music for me. That being said, if he ever drops a Michael Jackson tribute album, I'll cop on day 1.
