You have to think about this... at one point there were only Black people on this planet, even though some people believe certain races of people developed independently.
I was always under the impression that the first race (biblically speaking) was not "white or black" but because of the location and how people seeded the earth (heading toward more harsh hot climates), there was at one point a mostly black population. If you go north you will fine some of the palest people you have ever seen in your damn life but if you stay close to the equator, you will find rich dark skin tones with bodies designed to handle what those up north can't.
Some believe the garden of eden was originally to the left of Africa on the map (went under after the great flood) and a lot of what happens in the bible happens in Africa so it just makes sense.
