They Got To Mos Def, Y'all.
30 years ago or so, a Black person didn't know about these rituals, etc and be caught by surprise when they were alone in an office or were invited to a party. Maybe they got you young, desperate, deer in headlights and you did something you knew you' regret doing later. Not an excuse but we can see that scenario happening. Especially if you are a rapper.
The whole Black men in dresses, illuminati, rituals, whatever one calls it is well known today. No Black person in entertainment is ignorant of it. You can prepare yourself mentally beforehand. You know beforehand what you will and won't do. Furthermore, you know the whole black community is watching, knowing and you can't "splain it" away as 'it's just a kilt" "its just an Islamic thobe", etc.
The perpetrators are fully aware you know why you are in that office, hotel room alone with them or at a party where there are trannies, etc, so for them, they don't even have to try and sneak it into the conversation. All parties are aware.
Mos Def can't make any excuse. His father is a Muslim, dude has about 6 kids knowing they will see this pic. These dresses must be a sign your career fell off and you sold your self respect and integrity to try to get back on top.
I'm guessing in these puppet master's minds buck breaking a rapper from the hood is the ultimate. They symbolize black masculinity.
At this point, Mos Def and the others may as well just carry a sign saying "I'll ___ for access"

That's not a doctored photo. It's a photo that Mos took and posted on his IG page. He tagged the designers that made his clothes & boots.
