With all the news of dinosaurs being discovered and scientists finding DNA, do you think we are getting closer to the possibility of cloning a real dinosaur? It was a dream when it came to movies like Jurassic Park/Jurassic World, but that was all make believe for Hollywood. But we've known of other animals being cloned, like a sheep or goat (I forget), so why is it that we can't clone a dinosaur with the DNA we have found? I'm also reminded of the woolly mammoth that was discovered frozen, and had DNA. I just don't know if the DNA is too outdated to be used, but I am curious to see dinosaurs maybe being cloned. Of course not anything like T-Rex up in here, but maybe the tiny ones.

What do you think? Would you be down for them cloning even the biggest of Dinos?

On a side note, I've seen a few interviews with zoologists who claim that aligators evolved so little that they are basically dinosaurs. It makes sense.

I think they can and have. I have no proof but looking at how our tech after the 50's basically leapfrogged to what most people would think is magic back then, it's possible for people to do just about anything. Hell the Nuke is still a marvel to think about, how it was made, figured out ect.

I wonder if Dinosaurs are really what scientist think they are. From a creationist standpoint I wonder why God would make a bunch of chicken lizards first.

I'm more curious why God would create pigs, and then command us not to eat them. What purpose did they serve? Maybe pollution control, but that's what goats were for.

Who said he was the one that commanded us to do so? The Bible has been edited too many times to be considered an untainted source. But I think the answer is simple and not divine, look at Big Maw Maw in her last days all that hog mog and pigs feet is undefeated.
