Yes, this video is on point I started driving at MSD in 1979 with 10 wheels or tandems in the Military Duce and half and half tons after I ETS 1983 in California school bus driver then got back into 18 wheels in 1986 working for UPS XMAS rush I was Making $18.75 an hour 100% major medical and dental then they cut the pay $5 bring us back and 60/40 on insurance unlike what she said we got some over time. when they killed Jimmy Hoffa they also killed trucking because he made sure you got paid what you were worth and would shut the USA down remember everything comes on a truck if we shut down major highways, cities on ramps, and interstates nothing moves. now on top of that regonomics NAFT was the worst thing that a president has done that's why you don't have any money today

I drive for a company and I know the pay for long haul is bullshyt, but the first guy got more going than he is saying if he Owner Op and gotta sleep in a daycab.

I have seen videos that said that too many people went into trucking, but then again I seen/heard that not enough folks were into trucking.

You gave a lot of great information in one post. So would you recommend that new truck drivers not go into this field of work?
