AI is already here. That is the plan. That's why they were for a higher wage that was supposed to be living. As an excuse to drive employees away and bring in AI.McDonald's is also doing this......A.I.is coming.....prepare for the collapse.

People are getting a boot to the ass anyway even if you're making 6 figures I wouldn't laugh or celebrate too long......because many career paths are at risk whether it be entry level blue collar or white collar jobs. It's not the $15 an hour this was the agenda all along. This is just another domino falling.Skill or die..
This is what bitching and moaning about $15 an hour to flip burgers gets you. A boot to your ass.
My point being all this can be avoided by acquiring a marketable skill. Something the $15 bellyachers chose not to do and they will now be replaced by machines. Corporations have always looked to keep overhead for unskilled labor low and with automation they can damn near eliminate it.People are getting a boot to the ass anyway even if you're making 6 figures I wouldn't laugh or celebrate too long......because many career paths are at risk whether it be entry level blue collar or white collar jobs. Not true at all. You know how many White collar and highly skilled workers lost their jobs in Q1 of this year? It has nothing to do with minimum wage or marketable skills and everything to do with the fact that the capital class sees us all as expendable. If they need to cut 10k to please shareholders, cuts will happen. We're seeing a contraction in the economy, a turn to a multipolar world, inflation, and businesses are prepping for the great reset. My point being all this can be avoided by acquiring a marketable skill. The days of the cushy job are gone.
So we go back to being slaves....it's not going to matter what you do unless it's a career working on these machines shitting on people who make $15 an hour isn't helping anyone service industry jobs are the back bone of this country that's one reason they continued to work during the pandemic when everyone else was home the poor people or low income people aren't the enemy. Who said anything about them being the enemy? They're just the first and hardest hit when it comes to job cuts. That's how it works. Working on the machines is what having a marketable skill is. People want to find some comfy job and that's over with. The proletariat gets chopped first and hit hardest. I would need to see evidence of those making 6 figure incomes losing their jobs at the same rate as grunt workers. Not nearly as many is unskilled labor. Companies have always laid off jobs in the corporate sector to cut costs for whatever reason. That isn't new. Having a marketable skill is absolutely how you avoid this. Being skilled in something like IT, carpentry, accounting, and other industries that are recession proof is the way forward. People looking for a cushy and comfy job are gonna be SOL. It either won't be there or won't pay enough. Not true at all. It's happening everywhere. Not just Walmart. Does anyone here still work 40 hours per week? If so, NOT for long. Not true at all. I guarantee over the next 20 years we are going to see actual wages remain stagnant or drop. In addition, we'll see even more worker protections gutted and the people who will be manning these hell hole indentured servitude jobs will be immigrants.
