I would say mine is psychological horror. I'm too grown to be scared of demons and ghosts.
At the moment, one of my favourites is found-footage. Those are the nastiest types and the scariest for me. I got paranoid after watching The Poughkeepsie Tapes lolI don’t know if this counts but I’m a huge fan of suspense thrillers. When the movie takes me on a ride and I’m piecing things to together and there are plot twists I get locked into the film. I’m not a fan of any kind of scary movies with a killer walking around with a knife or zombies.
Plus twists get me hyped. At the moment, one of my favourites is found-footage. Those are the nastiest types and the scariest for me. I got paranoid after watching The Poughkeepsie Tapes lol
Do you mean like a thriller type like Saw?I would say mine is psychological horror.
I remember someone on Twitter saying that Insidious is the scariest movie of all time and after watching it on my phone, in the dark, I thought 'you must be striped'🤣 there's nothing scary about that movie at all. Just some jumpscares and some dead
Yeah, (the first) Saw is a good example, the twist at the end of the first one was hype too. Those trailers sound cheesy lolDo you mean like a thriller type like Saw?
I remember busting out laughing to the trailers they played on TV for the movie. "See Saw!" LOL I don't know why that was so funny to me.
I stopped being invested in the horror genre almost entirely at that point but I did watch those films and enjoyed them a lot.
The twist really got me. I feel like they started milking it though and it should have not continued. I don't even remember how many they made. I watched the first 3 and tapped out.Yeah, (the first) Saw is a good example, the twist at the end of the first one was hype too. Those trailers sound cheesy lol
I agree. I felt like they were milking the cheesy amount of gore and violence with the first one. Them putting the twist in at the end was ruined for me when they made those couple dozen films. The twist really got me. I feel like they started milking it though and it should have not continued. I was more grossed out by the films, than actually scared. The twist really got me. I feel like they started milking it though and it should have not continued. I don't even remember how many they made. I watched the first 3 and tapped out.
They got a bit much, for sure. The only horror movie that actually turned my stomach to the point where I almost did throw up was the "See No Evil" movie with the WWE wrestler Kane in it. I can't remember his actual name. He is in politics now. Either way, that movie... I will never watch it again lolI was more grossed out by the films, than actually scared.
Is that like The Blair Witch Project? I love that type!!! It’s so scary feeling especially since it’s from a single camera rolling continuously. No panning or and not a lot of b roll.At the moment, one of my favourites is found-footage. Those are the nastiest types and the scariest for me. Yeah it's like Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity does that too. The awkward silences in the movies are what get me. You don't know when they'll scare you so the movie makes you wait. That's nasty lolIs that like The Blair Witch Project? I love that type!!! It’s so scary feeling especially since it’s from a single camera rolling continuously. No panning or and not a lot of b roll.
I have to check it out. I’m in need of something like that this season.Yeah it's like Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity does that too. The awkward silences in the movies are what get me. You don't know when they'll scare you so the movie makes you wait. That's nasty lol

I remember in Insidious: Chapter 2 I couldn't stop laughing with that 'Don't you dare' scene when the demon bitch slapped the main character so hard that she spun into the table and broke it🤣🤣It's very obvious that the person ain't good at watching horror movies. There are far more better scary and dead horror movies then Insidious. I got bored along with watching the movie.
