Idk why but I feel like the covid mention is a sleight of hand. A distraction from the fact that they'll be shortages for other reasons not Covid Lockdowns. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if this crap with the supply ships not being able to offload causing delays of goods being delivered (the trafficking: human and drugs notwithstanding) all over the world are going to light up inflation like a god damn xmas tree.


or maybe I'm just conspiracy theory-ing because I expect the worst from the ppl in power.
