There’s a pattern of white and non-Black performers using "Black English" or "Blaccent" to gain notoriety. These performers are being called out (and canceled) for cultural appropriation, yet Blaccent is becoming more popular, with some people proclaiming Blaccent to be the modern internet-speak. Man this pisses me off so much because my son will be watching Fortnite videos, see all those jackasses using black vocabulary and blaccent, and sees it as internet/fortnite lingo. I have to let him know...noooo bruh that's OUR culture, they are copying us. It's so blatant and what I don't like is that the people that make these games and the people that play them hate our guts but copy everything we do.
