It looks like Lamar Jackson and the Ravens couldn't come to an agreement on a contract extension. But the Ravens still have plans to try and work with him in the off season to get him a new deal he can be happy with. This leaves him on his 5th year with the team, and could be his last if a deal can't be reached this coming off season.

My guess is that the Ravens will have a nice little deal set aside for him when the off season begins, and they'll focus on working those details on then. I can't see them letting Jackson go to another team, they would be crazy to let an elite player like him leave. Since they didn't come to an agreement, he could end up being a free agent at the end of the season, so the bidding wars can begin.

He'll still be a Raven next year.
