I keep hearing about it and people on all sides of politics are arguing over it. It has nothing to do with gay people. I actually read a briefing of the bill. It is meant to keep any and all sexual education away from younger children (even straight sex ed) as well as hold teachers accountable for not telling the parents if something happened to their child. Like say your kid gets a cut on their knee, they are obligated (because of this bill) to call the parents right away and tell them what happened. If they fail to do so, they will face prison time.

I see nothing wrong with this bill from what I have read of it. It is meant to protect kids. Am I missing something?

Another distraction from my point of view

A useless quarrel to distract us from the powers that be doing all that it can to maintain the white supremacist status quo. 100,000 Ukrainians are waltzing in and there's nothing we can do about it

Lol I thought the "don't say gay bill" thing was about people not being allowed to refer to things/people as gay or call out any gay stuff. Or something like a "don't ask don't tell" or "don't say they're as gay as a $3 bill."
