So I decided I may as well start now so I can be prepped and ready for spring. Looking into buying seed and supplies. Have a mini garden going so I can have a nice harvest throughout the summer. For anyone with experience with gardening, what supplies/tools are good to get now prior to starting the process. Seeds are obvious, starter pots, soil, etc. but what else is good to have ready? Any tips from people with experience? I just want a quick list to go down and buy as I can so I have everything good to go.

Sony is buying Bungie, the developer of Destiny 2 and the studio that originally created Halo, in a deal worth $3.6 billion, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced Monday.

Bungie will remain a multiplatform studio — Destiny 2 is available on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox platforms — with the option to self-publish its games. The studio “will remain independent and multi-platform, will enjoy creative freedom, and their track record in developing massively successful franchises in the sci-fi shooter genre will be highly complementary to SIE’s own IP portfolio,” SIE president Jim Ryan explained in a statement.

“We will continue to independently publish and creatively develop our games,” Pete Parsons, CEO and chairman of Bungie, added in a statement. “We will continue to drive one, unified Bungie community. Our games will continue to be where our community is, wherever they choose to play.”

Bungie addressed concerns from the Destiny 2 player base in an FAQ about the new deal, promising that nothing will change about the game’s availability on existing platforms. In a graphic outlining Bungie and PlayStation’s “shared vision,” Bungie said:

• “Destiny 2 will stay on all current platforms and expand to new platforms”
• “Bungie maintains full creative control and publishing independence of the Destiny universe”
• “Same game, everywhere — Every player should have an amazing Destiny experience, no matter where you choose to play”

Parsons said of the deal: “In SIE, we have found a partner who unconditionally supports us in all we are and who wants to accelerate our vision to create generation-spanning entertainment, all while preserving the creative independence that beats in Bungie’s heart. Like us, SIE believes that game worlds are only the beginning of what our IPs can become. Together, we share a dream of creating and fostering iconic franchises that unite friends around the world, families across generations, and fans across multiple platforms and entertainment mediums.”

A lot to unpack here, and things won't get any better depending on what happens within the next two years. I'm going to do what I can to get prepared, be careful out there y'all.

An important gem dropped by the cohost Rob, in siting Dr. Neely Fuller as juxtaposition to which content is elevated in the algorithms. Rob stated, "Since AI was created to curate the human errors in Technology, if you have racist writing the code to how the AI will respond, then you are experiencing THE MOST EFFICIENT FORM OF RACISM" (makes you think differently about the movie IRobot, drones with white faces trying to kill a black male). This brought me back to the Pegasus Spyware (Created by NSO), this technology is so effective and expensive that you don't need a weapon to bring someone down. That's the efficient part, to make a virtual battlefield without excessive damage. I wanted to make a thread for free games. They can be through any PC launcher (Steam, Epic, Origin, etc.), browser games, or free games on consoles.

Just list off any you have played that are good. I thought this kind of thread can be useful for people looking to play something new but not wanting to spend money on anything. We all need to budget from time to time.

On Steam, my recommendations are:
Warframe
Paladins
Apex (also on Origin)
Brawlhalla (Like Super Smash Bros)

I feel like there is a fine line with this for most people. Like you obviously want someone in your life who can make you laugh but when serious things are happening, it can be annoying to have someone who is clowning around when things need to be done. It can come off as them not caring enough.

I like the quality. Being with someone who has a sense of humor is important to me. However, they need to know when to turn it off. Like we can be immature together but if something serious comes up, joking around is a good way to get me pissed. lol

Police first responded to a report of an explosion on Sunday, Jan. 23, around 9:45 p.m. and "located an unoccupied vehicle with significant damage consistent with an explosion occurring inside the vehicle," according to a news release.

A few days later, at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, officers again responded to a call regarding an explosion and found a similarly damaged vehicle.

"Based on evidence located during the investigation, officers believe a homemade explosive device was detonated inside the vehicle," the release stated. "The circumstances of both incidents are similar."

It feels like someone is trying to turn the heat up on the streets, just in the last week I've read about at least 5 cops being shot, now these cars exploding, a black mayor committing "suicide" and a black former miss USA committing "suicide"... all happening in a really short period of time. It just seems off to me.

2022 is the year that a lot of good games are supposed to come out. Hopefully it is a great year and games can actually be released properly and not be a buggy mess or a disappointment

1) Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp (Nintendo Switch) I played these two games back on the GBA, so I am excited that they brought back this series

2)God of War: Ragnarök (Ps4/Ps5) I beat the all the God of wars (1,2,3, Ascension, the two psp games,and the reboot) i got to see it through to the end

3)Sonic Frontiers (All Platforms) I played all the sonic Games hopefully this is as good as adventure or at least generations

4)Suicide Squad: kill the Justice League (Ps5, XSX,PC) Looks like sunset overdrive so ill try it out

5) Gotham Knights (All Platforms) its batman Arkham with co op

6) Breath of the Wild 2 (Switch) Come on

a few days ago I jumped into a Twitter space I believe Tariq and another cat named Mel started simply asking how does immigration benefit Foundational Black Americans?
as I was listening to the start of the conversation was pretty straightforward and easy to understand, then for some reason, the Nigerians started to pop in the room and made the whole thing about them. The question was based on immigration not African immigration, immigration in general. I heard people reminding them that it wasn't specifically about them but they wouldn't let it go so, almost 4 days later we still have Twitter spaces spawn from this one conversation. The African immigrants have made it all about them, again!

The codifying that's happening with the FBA is long overdue in my opinion, I love to see how we have each other back's, now we need to direct this energy towards the true enemy. I don't see any African as lesser than me, I don't hate any of them either I just have an issue when they come here and show nothing but disrespect for the FBA family and side with white people.

The "half-ccinated" line got me.

I have seen this online and offline, in my own family, my work life, and in my friend circle. It seems like some people care so much about being liked that they will change themselves in order to please the people around them. Not being true to themselves. I feel like this just sets you up for disaster. Once you decide to start being yourself, people will think you changed. Wouldn't you rather be liked for who you are and not a false sense of your own self? I never understood this. I mean I did it as a teen. I wanted to be liked, have friends, fit in, etc. but I grew out of that.

Why do you think people do this as adults? Do you think there is a psychological reason behind it?

I don't watch anymore but I did a bet at work. You have to pick who is going and who will win, and the one closest to the right score wins the pot. I think there are like 20 people in on it. I ended up going with the Bengals and the 49ers. I picked the Bengals winning 24 to 10.

I don't know how good either team is at this point but I picked the Bengals simply because it is a cat team. (watch me lose lol)

This question has been on my mind for a few days, so I wanted to get the family's thoughts and perspectives on this and open up some dialogue.

The more FBA/ADOS/B1 philosophy takes a front seat to Black American thought and lifestyle, the more likely coon behavior will manifest itself in our lives in ways we either didn't notice or just never considered to begin with. I've certainly noticed things in my universe in the last 12-18months. I also imagine many of you have noticed things in yours as well. As I think of the phenomena of the coon in terms of their nature, their mentality, their EVERYTHING really, it made me wonder...Can A Coon Be Redeemed?

In other words, is cooning a fixable problem? Like an addict going to rehab and getting clean. Personally, I'm not so sure. I view them as a cultural malfunction or distortion. However, when I consider Jay's articles regarding the Subconscious Coon (Vol. 1 and Vol. 2), I start to wonder if maybe they can be redeemed as long as it's subconscious; that is to say, ignorant and unknowing participation in anti-black behavior. As opposed to a conscious coon; that is to say, a ready, willing and able participant in anti-black behavior.

My stance is mostly no. I think with the way technology is today, playing ignorant isn't a valid excuse anymore. In which case, I'm of the thought that really, there are no subconscious coons. It's all a deliberate behavior.

What about you family? Do you think a coon is redeemable?

For the last 10 years we have suffered a media blitz of black sexual predation, only as a scapegoat for actual white criminals. From Roman Polanski or Stephen Collins, they've all enjoyed the million dollars with of whiteness in criminal defense. Our next Potential Predator is Republican Matt Gaetz, who road the MAGA wave into public office. Gaetz is now in a legal battle for potentially having sexual contact with a minor through the website and app Seeking Arrangements, as well as transporting the minor across state lines for sexual favors. Could this be midterm theater of some kind or will an actual conviction be the result?

I started it and haven't gotten through much of it because errands called, but I'm definitely finishing part one when I get home. Part two I'll probably finish later on tonight or tomorrow because I have a lot of things going on. I'll be back, of course a solid percentage has been spoiled but I'm still gonna watch.

This is something that has bothered me for some time now. Cities across the US have such strict gun laws that it makes it damn near impossible to own a gun legally, especially for black families. If they made it easier to access and own guns, crime rates would go down. Do you think a criminal would post up on a house if there was a chance the man inside had guns? It would be too risky. The reason crime is so high in the city areas is because criminals know people lack proper protection and this tends to hurt black adults the most, this is especially true for places like Chicago. I have heard stories of men going outside the state lines to obtain guns just to protect their families and getting the book thrown at them when they are caught using it for the very reason they bought the gun in the first place. And I know damn well white people don't get the same treatment for doing this either.

All US citizens, no matter where they live, should have the right to keep and bear arms in their own property at the very least. I want to see something changed about this, especially for black Americans. I feel like these laws were set in place not to "keep people safe" but to keep black families unsafe. It makes no damn sense that a city can tell someone they don't have the right to protect their home, their family, or their property. It never sat right with me.

Maybe I am missing out on the finer details here but it just never felt right.
