The Big Squeeze

There's logic gates in our CPUs that are 7nm wide. If this can be done, imagine the possibilities.

By comparison we can't even compress water but we're trying to compress light!

Interesting stuff

Fake Martial Arts/Self-Defense Instructors

This is as old as time but this dude at DUST in Detroit is the latest sensation that is going to get someone killed with his nonsense. Why do I say that? Because he does not practice on resisting opponents. Every technique you see him performing is on someone standing still and complying with his movements. The danger is that people practice these movements on people who comply, build a false sense of confidence, and are lost when facing an opponent that is resisting. If a trainer is saying his/her technique works then they HAVE to show it work on someone who is trying to kick their ass. You need to see the movement apply in the realest scenario possible and practice it as such. Someone who is running up on you with a gun or knife ain’t just gonna let you take It. He’s gonna do everything in his power to destroy you. What if you do happen to grab his gun and the barrel and he starts punching you in the face and pistol whips you? These classes don’t prepare you for that…

Think Netflix gaming will be any good?

Netflix is supporting games now. I hear they have some mobile games out now, that you can download through Android and Apple, but so far they haven't made any big triple A titles or bigger games in general. Do you think we'll ever see games that rival the likes of GTA, Call of Duty and others coming from Netflix? Or are we going to just get mobile games through Netflix gaming side?

Do you think there is someone for everyone?

I don't think there is one person destined to be with you. If that was the case, we'd be searching all over the world for that person, but we all tend to go with people near us or in our area. Most people can't do long distance relationships, and who's to say "The one" is near you. She/he could be in another country even.

But, do you believe there is someone for everyone?

People who go through plastic surgery way too much

There are some people out there who are addicted to getting plastic surgery. I've seen shows about botched surgeries, people who continue to keep getting plastic surgery after pretty much doing too much already. Have you ever met anyone who had plastic surgery over and over? Do you know anyone you would consider to be addicted to it?

I've seen some people implanting horns on their head, cutting their tongue in two, etc.

True story (Netflix) Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes

I started watching this last night, I almost finished it (it's a mini series) If you haven't seen this I would
highly recommend watching it. Kevin is doing a superb job at his acting skills, and Wesley is good as usual.
The story is very good, lot's of twist's in it and watching might have you anxious like I have been this whole time.
I'll probably finish it tonight, if you haven't started it... start, you wont regret it.

Does anyone here work online for a living?

I've considered working online, with the pandemic originally pushing a lot of us out of jobs, it made me wonder if more people would jump to online work instead, and a lot did. Did anyone here find work online? I looked, but I eventually found that I would be better at my old job, so I just had to wait until the pandemic cleared enough until I could go back to work. For those working online, what kind of jobs have you found so far? Any suggestions for those maybe wanting to try working online?

Will we get more serious reboots like Bel-Air?

Bel-Air, the new reboot on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, will be a more serious take on the story. Do you think that we'll past shows get this same treatment? What if they did a serious take on family matters. But seriously, I've never heard of a show getting rebooted in this way. Do you think it could happen for other shows? Honestly, could see Sanford and Sons being rebooted as a more serious show, but I doubt anyone would be allowed to touch that show.

Telling signs of an abusive relationship?

I have had some suspicions that one of the girls I work with is in an abusive relationship. I have wanted to say something for a month now but I don't want her to take it the wrong way. She started at our clinic in October so I don't really know her all that well. We have only worked together a few shifts a week since she started. Are there telling signs when a woman is in an abusive relationship? How do you approach something like this?

Have you binge-watched any series?

I try my best not to do this cause I feel like I don't appreciate a series as much. I try to limit myself to a max of 3 episodes a day but I have been guilty of binging out on shows before. This is mainly due to the fact that I wait until there is at least a full season to watch the series. The last one I did this with was Westworld. The first season was so good I couldn't stop watching it! The show has gone downhill since then though.
