Days ago a mass shooting happened at a gay nightclub in Colorado where five people were murdered. Last night a manager at a Walmart in Virginia murdered six people, most of them co-workers. I'm tired of this yearly pattern of mass shootings. I'm also tired of people complaining about guns. Everyone shouldn't have access to guns, I will agree on that. But banning people from having these weapons is not the way. How are people going to protect themselves? Black people who have their power tools need them to protect themselves. There are cases where Black people had to use a gun to defend themselves and others around. If they didn't have this protection, they and others would be dead. What are your thoughts on mass shootings and the attack on gun ownership?

Is a new form of anti-blackness developing in the black community and specifically the black conscience community? What could be the effects of letting such a mindset fester? Let's delve into that on today's segment of Equis Rants.

Happy early Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is tomorrow. I don't know if everyone here celebrates it, but I want to wish you all a happy one, and if you don't celebrate, I still hope you have a good weekend off from work. I wouldn't say I celebrate thanksgiving itself. I just get together with family and we eat like pigs for a day, hang out, find out how the family is doing, what they're up to, the usual. Some of the older folks in the fam are a bit more serious about it, but have kind of accepted that we aren't as serious about it. But we say our prayers and all that before eating.

What are your holiday traditions around this time? For the past few years my family have been playing Madden every Thanksgiving. We want to do a tournament, but never have enough people. But the kids are getting older and are learning to play video games, so the tradition continues maybes.

I don't know if anyone saw the holiday ad campaign they were running but it featured little girls holding up teddy bears in bondage and leather, whips and all. Another pictures featured court documents dealing with child pornography or some shit. They basically came out and told us all they are PRO-PEDOPHILE and want to sexualize young children. The girls in the picture must have been like 5 maybe 6 years old, possibly younger. It made me want to puke when I heard about it.

I never spent money on their brand and because of this, I never will. I hope the company goes belly up. These sick satanic fuqs do not deserve to have a business in this country. They can take their pro-pedo crap back to France! I am pissed.
