Megan Thee Stallion Sued By Her Record Label

Megan Thee Stallion isn't walking away from her record label without a fight -- 1501 Certified Entertainment is suing, claiming her last "album" actually wasn't an album ... and she owes more recordings and a lot of money.

The label's countersuit, filed Monday, calls out Megan for her "Something for Thee Hotties" album release last year. Megan had sued 1501 back in February to declare the record fulfilled her contract.

Not so fast, according to 1501 ... which calls the record nothing more than a compilation of old, previously-released material. According to docs, obtained by TMZ, the label says 'Something' is "made up of 21 recordings and includes spoken interlude recordings on which MTS does not appear as well as several previously-released recordings."

As far as any new MTS material on the "album" -- 1501 says there's a mere 29 minutes worth of it, and to them, that's not enough to qualify as an album under her deal.

In the suit, the label says Megan is well aware any album she makes must include at least 12 "new master recordings of studio performances," and they have to be previously unreleased. Most importantly, 1501 says it has to approve all the tracks ... and it claims that didn't happen when Megan put together "Something for Thee Hotties."

This Moment of Truth addition by Professor Black Truth spoke to how the United States Census Bureau has finally been able to tell the truth about the black populous moving itself around, and how the black population is much larger than what is reported. I noticed around 2010, when prices (semi-nationally) of living were starting to rise and particularly in the main four metropolises (LA, MIAMI, NYC, CHICAGO) and certain friends and family started to settle down south. A strong example of this migration was how Charlotte, NC and cities near it have had their voting partners changed by the new incoming voters.

The Business: In Defense of Black Men's Feelings

This evening's "The Business", broadcast was completely Jason Black surprised me, on the heels of the West v. Davidson (virtual scuffle), the dominate society chooses a new Trojan Horse in Trevor Noah (remember Hannibal Burress Cosby Joke before trial and prison?). Comparing the violence of Eminem to Kanye West having his spats with Pete and wanting to keep his relationship (not Judging) with Kim stable, this is not a victimless crime and I'm sad to say this will be the hill Trevor Noah (with a white father) dies on. Two of the most important questions of this broadcast were, how much longer will black men be subjugated? Once they no longer subjugated, what will become of those that abuse us (even those apart of our community)???

I will be celebrating in April with family. What do you all do for the Passover and other holy days? By the way, Happy New Year!!! 🎊

What are your thoughts on interethnic relationships?

Ethnicity differences cam vary from tribal, religion, and other things dependent on where you're from and proximity, but my thoughts are as long as the family of each side is ok with the marriage I can care less.

Who should love more in a relationship?

Relationship is built on trust, faith, love tolerance and commitment. Without having all these qualities in your relationships it's going to be very difficult for that relationship to thrive which means that one party in the relationship must be willing to put in more effort in order to sustain the relationship.

Should it be the man or the woman that puts more effort in such situations in order to keep the relationship going?

"Master" Sends a Stark Message About America's Racist History

Horror films employ scare tactics for shrills and thrills. But unlike most, Prime Video's "Master" weaves a thought-provoking message into a new tale about a college campus with a scary, racist history. The film, which premiered at this year's Sundance and SXSW Film Festivals, follows three Black women (Regina Hall, Zoe Renee, and Amber Gray) trying to find their place at an old-fashioned, predominantly white university, Ancaster College.
The trailer is lackluster to me, the storyline is vague and after looking up the director Mariama Diallo I see it's another non #FBA trying to make a movie about ameriKKKan racism. Her IMDB is very short, nothing I've heard of. Based just on the trailer, it's a rip-off of Peele's work in my opinion.
even though in the article she tries to imply she didn't get inspiration from him for this movie. (o..k..)
Mariama Diallo is a Senegalese-American filmmaker based in Brooklyn. Mariama co-wrote Everybody Dies! as part of the feature Collective:Unconscious (SXSW 2016). Her short Sketch won the Fox Inclusion Emerging Artist Award at the 2017 BlackStar Film Festival.
I have mixed feelings about this.

Black Store Owner in Alabama Reports Robbery but Responding Officer Punches Him, According to Lawsuit

A Black liquor store owner in Decatur, Alabama has sued the white police officer in federal court. He claims in the lawsuit that the officer who responded to a robbery punched him in the face, which broke his jaw on March 2020, according to the Associated Press.

The owner, Kevin Penn, is also suing the city of Decatur, along with the officer, Justin Rippen.
I hate to have to say this but, Black people, don't call the #KKKops, even if you need them. take the loss and figure out how to secure yourself. these #KKKops are not here to serve you. ever.
