THOUGHTS??? KIA/LOD

Do you feel bad for a police officer who get's killed in the line of duty or killed in action?

As for me I do not! I feel the same about a cop as I do any other dangerous animal! I don't see a rattlesnake run over on my street and feel sad or bad about it. I just think at least it isn't a danger to me now! I actually feel good. I feel no different about cops!

They feel that way about us as black people! Why shouldn't I feel that way about them?

Not saying to do anything to them but if they get smoked then oh freakin well! One less!

Kenyan Woman In Iraq Got Thrown From Third Floor Of A Balcony

The global anti-Black violence and racism continues.
Please be extra careful while traveling in anti-Black countries such as Iraq, especially if you are a Black woman. It's beyond time to begin the process of Black people building for ourselves in our own countries.

THE OVERTON WINDOW

"The Overton window is the range of policies politically acceptable to the mainstream population at a given time. It is also known as the window of discourse.he term is named after American policy analyst Joseph Overton, who stated that an idea's political viability depends mainly on whether it falls within this range, rather than on politicians' individual preferences. According to Overton, the window frames the range of policies that a politician can recommend without appearing too extreme to gain or keep public office given the climate of public opinion at that time." cited from Wikipedia

Why am I speaking about this? I want to explain how our thinking and goals should be focused.

The Overton window in any society determines what behavior and ideology is acceptable and what is considered going a bit too far. Have you ever been at a gathering and there is that one person who just takes a conversation too far? It starts with them seeming a bit on the edge but no one says anything. Before you know it they say something that is just a line too far and everyone gets upset.

In our society things like being openly racist are considered being too much. It falls outside the Overton window. However it depends on the person's level of racism. You would be ostracized if you just outright called a person a N----r in the place of work or even out in public. The person would likely lose their job and lose business. However if the person is overtly racist then they can get away with it. Maybe they are saying things that appear racist but not going full on with it. Right now in our society that is pretty much not frowned upon too much. A person could get away with this.

This is largely due to what is considered acceptable in media. People like Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and in the past Bill O'Reilly say outwardly racist things on national television. This causes racism to become more acceptable. Saying their talking points is considered part of normal discourse and conversation. (remember it is also know as window of discourse).

This is why we must call out and put down harshly even the smallest instances of such behavior. Lots of people say that Trump made racism worse. He did but that is in part because we as a society allowed the Overton window to be pushed to that extent. We allowed being outwardly racist to be acceptable behavior.

The Overton window moved to that point that the way Trump and racist behaved wasn't considered so radical it was within the normal societal behavior. We can't allow that.

In my personal life I remember when I first got braids. Everyone at my place of work complimented me on how nice they were. I could tell some people of other races were curious. They gave compliments but they were a bit taken aback by the hairstyle. Now if anyone knows me they know I am quite outlandish with my hairstyles. Over time they began to learn more about African American hairstyles. They began to ask me what I was going to do next and even suggest styles. It went from being a hairstyle that was maybe radical or just acceptable( look at the first chart) to being popular.

I even had people asking for referrals to my stylist for friends and for their kids or relatives.

We can make changes to what is considered acceptable in our society. As long as we allow racism to be considered acceptable it is only just outside of the Overton window. We must make any instance of racism so radical and ostracized that no one dares participate in it for fear of punishment or consequences. If a business acts in a racist manner we must as a whole boycott them and leave them in financial ruins. If an individual is racist we must boycott the company they work at until they are fired and leave their life in ruins with them and their family starving on the streets.

Two Wisconsin residents electrocuted after trying TikTok trend

Officials described fractal wood burning as an art form that has risen to fame on social media sites like TikTok. The fractal burning process normally uses a high-voltage transformer to flow current across wood items that have been soaked with a chemical solution.

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office is warning of the dangers of fractal wood burning and says it should only be done by trained professionals.

The Town of Day is just over two hours west of Green Bay.

No additional information was provided.

sad, people dying over challenges. I don't understand people anymore.

Two Wisconsin residents electrocuted after trying TikTok trend

BREAKING POINT

Right now is the breaking point. If we can't get reparations within the next 10 years we will never be able to get it. The only reason it is even remotely considered right now is because they need the black vote.

Unfortunately most of the black vote right now is the older civil rights generation. They will continue to vote Democrat no matter what.

What it will take is the black community as a collective sitting out and not voting. The civil rights generation need to understand that people died back in the 60s not for us to have a right to vote but for us to have a better life.

Martin Luther Kings dream didn't mention anything about voting. It was all about us being treated fairly and having a better situation here in this country.

Unless we just let the Democrats be on their own for a few election cycles and they see how much they need our vote nothing will be done.

Once they bring in enough immigrants to replace our vote and continue to decimate our population by pushing a liberal agenda that includes being gay/lesbian and aborting our children they won't need our vote. There is no reason to give reparations at that point.

Reparations will be given because it is politically necessary to do so. This isn't an argument about doing what's right or that we deserve it. Indeed we do deserve it but America has never done what is right. From Trayvon Martin, Rodney King, Philando Castile, Breona Taylor, Sandra Bland, Jim Crow Era and even currently they continue to violate our human rights. I didn't say civil rights. I said human rights. Other countries like China have even called them out for their human rights abuses.

They continue to do wrong because they don't want to do what's right. They want to do what is politically convenient. Right now it is not politically convenient to give reparations in any form.

We must make it politically inconvenient not to give us reparations!

Politics

So I guess the powers that be are really hearing B1 voice’s and they’re not hearing the usual political language they’re used to hearing. So they’re trying to get ahead of it and completely force our hand. You can count on me writing PBT, TBA, King Flex or Vicki every time and push come to shove I got that fine money ready.Another thing this tells me that there’s more of us than they have counted and our vote means more than they portray..

Cells Theory

If you look at the Earth as a living organism, one could argue that we humans are engaging in a fight to preserve the body of the organism we inhabit, much like healthy cells fight off cancerous cells within ourselves.

Is it possible that we Blacks are the healthy cells and we are succumbing to the mutant cells (WS) within our host organisms's ecosystem? For us humans, a body doesn't have to be completely inhabited by cancerous cells to die from it, we just need enough malignent cells to do us in. We may already be 400 years too late in fighting off this cancer. Now look at where we at. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, but we are probably past the point of diplomacy, and even wehen we get our reparations, the Earth may be too f***ed to even be habitable for future generations. Going by this Cells theory we have no choice but to fight white supremacy, its in our nature. Just a few thoughts....

POLICE REFORM. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU?

One of the things we generally ask for is Police Reform.
The white supremacists are constantly trying to frame the narrative of what that means. Most of their suggestions are trash.

Some people both black and white don't even understand what qualified immunity truly is. I especially don't think white people understand because if they did they would be for removing it.
First let's define and discuss what qualified immunity is.

"Qualified immunity grants all government workers immunity for violating constitutional and civil rights unless the victims of those violations can show that their rights were “clearly established.” Although innocuous sounding, the clearly-established test is a legal obstacle nearly impossible to overcome. It requires a victim of government abuse to identify an earlier decision by the Supreme Court or a federal appeals court in the same jurisdiction, holding that precisely the same conduct under the same circumstances is illegal or unconstitutional. If none exists, the government worker is immune. It doesn’t matter whether the worker’s actions are unconstitutional, unreasonable, intentional, or malicious."

Thus is virtually impossible to overcome. It's like when you try to get the first job but they all require a year of experience. But how do you get the year when no one hires with less than a year.

This is the same because you can't sue a police officer directly unless he violates a right that some one else successfully sued for. But how can that be when no one else is allowed to sue because of this doctrine?

Hopefully this gave a clearer understanding.

What is our overall goal? To stop the violence and mistreatment.

Punishment and consequences is the thing that most likely curbs the bad behavior of police.

Here are some of my suggestions.

1. Remove qualified
2. Require all police to have at least an associates degree. No exceptions.
3. Require a national test with state licensure (like nurses and doctors are required to have)
4. Require police officers to carry liability insurance paid for our of their pocket
5. Create a national agency to investigate law enforcement misconduct
6. Tie federal funding to police misconduct. If any department gets more than 10 founded allegations of misconduct or unlawful use of force their federal funding is cut. Departments would be responsible to investigate. They would then be audited by the national agency I mentioned earlier. If the department says unfounded and the national agency determines it was founded their funding is cut.
* This would force departments to investigate honestly and hold officers accountable.
7. If an officer is accused of unlawful use of force he is suspended without pay pending investigation. Investigation would be required to be at least 2 weeks minimum. Any department that refuses to do so has federal funding cut.
8. Any officer with more than 2 founded use of force allegations is placed into a national database. They are fired and unable to be hired as law enforcement. If the department refuses federal funding is cut until the officer is fired. Any department that hired them has federal funding cut.
9. Criminal investigation into police misconduct and charges are done by federal prosecutors instead of local ones.
10. Any police chief or sheriff that oversees more than 20 founded use of force allegations within a year is mandated to resign immediately.

This creates consequences for their actions. It ties financial consequences for police departments that refuses to hold police accountable.
Requiring college education weeds out some the racist white supremacists who just want to be a coo to abuse black people.
Requiring liability insurance will make them think before acting in an abusive manner because then you could go after their insurance.
Like any insurance if too many claims at filed the premiums would go up causing financial consequences to the officer directly.

Requiring a state license means that the state could punish them and even revoke the license.

The crazy thing is 5,6,7,8 could be done via executive order without any need for Congress to approve. Biden just won't do it!

What was your WORST EXPERIENCE?

As black people we just about all have horrible stories about interactions with police officers.

I remember one night I had went bike riding. I was just trying to get in some exercise. While I was riding the bike and passing one of the neighbor's house their dog ran out of the yard and bit me. The bite left a huge gash in my calf and also calls me to fall off the bike and scuff my knee up pretty bad.

I immediately talk to the neighbor and ask them if their dog had their rabies shot and if they could show me proof of the vaccination.

I told him if they could show me proof of the vaccination then I wouldn't worry about calling the police.

The neighbor seemed kind of hesitant and was acting a bit fishy to me. I told him I was going to go to my house to grab my cell phone real quick and come back. I came back and asked if they were able to go ahead and get the information on the vaccine. They were unable to get it so I went ahead and called the police.

By the time the police showed up they had hid the dog somewhere. I assume that when I walk back to my house to get my cell phone that's when they hit the dog.

When the police showed up the neighbors swore up and down that it wasn't their dog. I explained to the police that I had just talked to them and they told me it was their dog.

The police didn't do anything. They basically blew it off and told me pretty much to not worry about it. I explained that I haven't been bitten by their dog and that they should be cited for it and that them having the dog without the proper vaccines was a danger to the community.

Once again the police officers blew me off and didn't do anything.

I just asked if they could give me a report number and then went ahead and got my wife and kids to go to the hospital.

Once we got to the hospital and we're pulling in the parking lot I must have been pretty anxious and trying to hurry up and get in because I turned my lights off a bit early. There was some police officers in the parking lot and I guess they must have saw me turn the lights off cuz I was getting ready to the park. They pulled up behind me and turned their lights on pulling me over.

The police officers walked up and it started as a pretty much standard interaction they asked for license and insurance. I gave him the paperwork as they asked.

The police officer walked away for a bit and then came back. When he came back that's when things kind of got weird. Now I'll remind you my wife and kids were in the car with me.

Daughters were both only 1 and 3 years old at that time. The police officer started asking all kinds of weird questions which it was obvious to me he was racially profiling me.

He asked if I had any guns or drugs in the car, did the car belong to me, where was I going, did I live near this area. I answer no to everything. He circled back around again and asked him I sure that I didn't have any guns or drugs in the car. He then asked if I minded if they searched the car.

At this point I was a little upset so I didn't answer the question. Instead I explained to the police officer that I have been just bitten by a dog and was on the way into the hospital to get treatment. I told him no I did not give consent to search the car and asked if he could go ahead and write my citation so that I could go.

He gave me a kind of strange look. Most people don't acts if they can get a citation they're trying to get out of it. My thing with the police is always been that I want the interaction to be over. I don't care if I get a ticket I'll just pay it. But I don't want an interaction with the police to last any longer than necessary even if that means just getting a ticket and going on my way.

After all the racial profiling the police officer came back to the car after wasting approximately 30 minutes of my time and told me that he was just going to give me a warning.

I was pretty pissed off. If you're going to put me through all of that then at least give me a damn ticket. But to sit there and racially profile me like that and then just figure it's cool because you're letting me off with the warning that's BS.

I'm never upset with the police officer for giving me a ticket. If I'm speeding a broke a traffic law then I'm fine with getting a ticket for it. I don't feel like I'm above the law. But what I don't like is for police officers to pull me over and then racially profile me like that. Treat me the same as you would a f****** white man in a suit.

You wouldn't sit there and ask all those kinds of questions to a white man in a suit because you feel like they may be someone important and then you may end up getting in trouble and losing your job. However when they pull over a young black man they figure this is no one important so they can get away with treating us like dirt.

What's your worst experience with police officers?

What do you think about this take from the 6ZEROS twitter? Do you think they are making a concerted effort to show us as meek and non-commanding. I do find it odd how both are astronauts but the Black one is scared while the White one looks composed and focused. Why would you use that image? Why not have a strong Black person next to Buzz? Why can’t they both be focused and determined?

While Democrats Waste Time With A Symbolic Sit-In, Republicans Kill Black Voting District

Gov. DeSantis (R-FL) has made it easy for brothers & sisters who were planning to withhold their votes by simply eliminating their voting district.
Meanwhile, the Democrats were busy doing nothing as usual.
Black people were stuck between political assault and political inaction.
