VPN's : What do they do?

What's good on VPN's fam? I had one about a year ago thinking it would camoflauge my web activity but when my subscription ran out, someone else said that unless you are trying to watch movies in other countries on certain streaming services, that its pointless to have it? I really don't watch much of anything outside of Youtube. Is it worth it to get another year of VPN?

How would you handle your partner losing their job?

Say you are in a relationship with someone who accounts for at least half the income and means of finances for you both and they lose their job. Maybe they were fired, maybe the company shut down, maybe there were budget cuts. Either way, they are no longer employed and their income was needed to cover a lot of you and your partner's financial needs.

How would you handle this?

America, The Kingdom of Lies

After 2020 I refuse to celebrate another New Year coming in

I used to do the watch parties and all of that. I remember I would even set my watch to the countdown, but that year was so miserable. I remember before Covid really took off my wife was watching this preacher talking bout he's prophesizing all these great things gonna happen in 2020.... now I think all of the count down stuff and proclamations of how great this year is going to be with the rhymes (It's gonna be new in 22) is crazy.

I still like New Years resolutions though. And I'm always thankful to live to see another one, but man I don't care like that anymore.

How hard do you think it is to learn the violin as an adult?

I might have mentioned it on the forum before...

I have always had a fascination with it but never picked it up as a kid. I am tempted to get a cheap violin and try to teach myself when I have spare time. Everything I am reading is saying it is one of the hardest instruments to learn in general, especially for adults. I am bullheaded though. I feel like I can do it. lol

Do you know anyone who plays it? I want to try it I think. I for a gift card and I might use it to buy one.

Covid is weird, man

Who here had covid and knows they did? What did it feel like?

I was vaccinated a while back since I work in a clinic. I was around a few people in my family who had it during Christmas and didn't know. They both got pretty sick but nothing life-threatening. I was feeling unwell from Sunday till Wednesday. I tested positive but since I was vaccinated and not feeling bad, I worked. I didn't agree with it but the clinic was short-staffed. I was tired, sore, and had headaches with a bit of a stomach ache. No coughing, throat soreness, runny nose, or anything like that. Had no idea covid could be this passive.

A message to ALL FBA's

Black family? I would like to wish each and every one of you a safe and very happy New Year. Those that shoot please shoot into a pile of dirt. Those that drink PLEASE let someone sober drive you home. In past years I have lost 1 family member and 2 friends to drunk drivers, I dont want to hear that I have lost ANY cyber family members.

I love you ALL!!!

3 Sure Fire Steps to Achieve Your New Years Resolutions

According to Statistic Brain Research Institute around 40% of Americans form New Year’s Resolutions year over year. At face value, forming a New Year’s Resolution is worthy of praise. It’s an ode to oneself and to the universe that they will improve in the upcoming year. But beneath the surface, a phrase such as “I’m going to start a business in 2022” is nothing more than an intent to partake in an ambitious endeavor by an undisclosed date. In other words, it’s nothing more than hot air.

@00:10 - He talks about how the Piltdown Man was created by Europeans to pretend as if humanity started in Europe. From this fabrication they created the pre-sapien theory and that man had it's origins in Europe, specifically in Britain.

@6:54 - He talks about the Kemetic ethnographic chart found in Ramses tomb that shows Black and Kemetic people as the same. He says that the Kemetic people never confused themselves with Semites and Europeans and they never viewed themselves as different from other Africans.

@16:50 - He talks about Amenhotep and his dynasty that conquers all of Western Asia and also the Aegean Sea. He talks about this is the period of African Imperialism. He said at this point it's when Africans had the imperial throne and they dominated all people from the mediterranean all the way to the far east.

@18:00 - He said Tutmoses III conquered 111 States in all and brought them into the Kemetic Empire.

@19:00 - He shows similarities between Kemetic and Tutsis.

What age do you think is best?

In terms of getting married, what age do you think is best for a man, and what age do you think is best for a woman?

In terms of having children, what age do you think is best for a man and what age do you think is best for a woman?

I have always had views on both subjects that have changed the more people I have met and gotten to know. I think a general rule, at least from my own observations, is marriage is best after the age of 24 and children after the age of 26. This is for both men and women.

City Life/ Suburb Life/ Country Life?

In terms of general lifestyles (excluding politics, religion, etc) what kind of area do you prefer when it comes to living - in the city, in the suburb, or in the country?

I never cared for city life. I have lived in a city for half my life and moved away. I prefer it in the suburb. It is a mix of the best of both worlds in my opinion. I don't know if I would be entirely happy living the country life but I know I am not happy living in a city. I am just curious to see what you all have preferences for.

Black homelessness and job discrimination

Dr claud anderson said that if too many black people move into an area white people will move. If too many go to their childs school they will pull them out of that school. If too many join your gym or club they will stop going there. I imagine the same goes for jobs so I was wondering if anything specific pops up to yall during the job process that shows that. I was thinking the reference system to me it sounds like slavery when black peoples were 3/10s of a person and our word was invalid and we needed a white voice to vouch for us. Same with getting a passport they only want to hear from specific jobs. How much of this do you think is racial vs professional or is it all combined at this point.

What's the worst pain you've experienced?

I always hear female's say giving birth is pain on a whole different level, I can imagine. I know everyone has experienced some sort of pain in their lifetime, don't need to go into details, but what caused you the most physical pain that you recall?

For me it was being shot (more than once) a pain I wish to never experience again in my life.
