Do you think marriage is dying out?

Marriage isn't as popular as it once was, in fact I think less and less people get married now days than ever. I myself am not sure about marriage. I feel I could date a woman for the rest of my life and not need to get married. I've known people who've dated for years and marriage was something they felt wasn't needed. They felt marriage was old fashioned and behind the times.

I honestly don't care for the idea of marriage. If I met the right woman, sure I'd get married, but if I met a woman who never wanted to, I'd be okay with that too. And honestly, do we need to get married to be happy with someone? I know many do it these days because of benefits, and for tax purposes. Which is a plus for marriage, but could you go your whole life as being in a relationship with someone, and not get married ever to that person?

First impressions

I'm Gen X, growing up in my teens we didn't have social media, cell phones or any of the stuff these kids have today. If you wanted to meet a girl you had to actually go up to her and start a conversation, if you didn't have "game" you didn't get a number point blank, after a few fails you learn the art of being able to start and hold a conversation with as female. and you better be interesting, witty or smart to keep her interested.
for me the first thing I look at and notice about a female (back in my days) were her hands, if she took care of her hands(nails not this clown sh*t we have today) that was a big plus for me.
what is the first thing about a person you notice? and what's a deal breaker?

Clown sh*t vs. Proper (my taste)

Are the Detroit Lions ever going to have a winning season again?

Dude, it feels like the Detroit Lions never have luck. They were probably their best in the years when they had Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson. They did good at some point, but then they fell back into the same habits of continually losing, and now they're just a shell of a team. Stafford is having success with the Rams, and Calvin Johnson retired because he was going nowhere with the Lions. It feels like the season they went winless for the year. Do you think they will go winless this year? Even the Jaguars finally won their first game.

I feel like this Lions team is stuck forever with bad decisions and constant losing seasons. Do you ever think they can break that and come out with a good team?

Evander Kane

I don't know if anyone here follows hockey, but I do a bit. Apparently, Evander Kane on the San Jose Sharks got suspended for 21 games for submitting a fake vaccination card. I don't even think there's a mandatory vaccine requirement in the NHL lol But it's even worse because he was already in the hot seat for betting on his own games. It always amazes me how players who have these big contracts and can't just play the game, they always have to create drama.

Sharks' Kane out 21 games for violating protocol

US Sailors Tell Stories of Being Used as Unwilling Nuclear Test Subjects

The lovely US Government basically had these sailors sail out to the middle of the ocean, told them to go on deck, duck, and then erupted a nuclear bomb without telling them. This is a short video of those sailors explaining what happened, multiple day they were able to see their through their skin and see their own bones, basically a realtime x-ray.

When did you "wake up"?

At what age did you begin to understand racism? I was in the 7th Grade around the time Root's came out, i was never taught about it from my parents even though my Dad being from L.A. and a lot of my family being from Oakland they knew what the deal was but never really told my brothers and sisters what we would be facing as we got older.
it became clear after watching roots at such a young age, and from that day on i knew what i would be dealing with. I just wish i was taught from my parent's, The Baby Boomer generation seriously failed Generation X.
Don't leave your kids unprepared if you have any.

If Hell existed, do you think Colin Powell is there?

In case you are questioning the title, there’s been a period put on the end of Colin Powell’s sentence.

Yes, he died and I know in the past he was revered for being the “first negro” in some white institution but is that enough anymore?

Is having a Black head of the military an accomplishment when that nigga is commanding the Death Star to blow up Black people?

He was a willing accomplice in the WMD lies on iraq that killed hundreds of thousands if not millions.

So I ask, is he in hell?

I love this game! Official NBA 2021-2022 Season Thread.

Here we go again. Another season of basketball action is kicking off. Last year, the Greek Giannis cream rose to the top. Father Time gave CP3 a break and set his sites on King James. Lamelo actually lived up to the hype. Ben Simmons has hit a definite wall, and if him and Philly are as done as his outside shot.

So what are the 6zero predictions? Who you got? What’s the surprise pick for the year?

What artists from the '90s were you into?

I prefer rap and hip-hop from the '90s myself, heck even the r&b had more soul to it. I am curious to see who you all were into back in the '90s. I was quite young at the start but I got into music nearing the end of the decade and ended up going back a handful of years to find my taste in music. I still find myself going back to this music since it resonated with me the most.
