… is a popular phrase in our community, but it's not really possible, it's self-destructive (and destructive to the community by extension) and you don't ACTUALLY want to do it.

Emotions cannot be controlled, only accepted or ignored. Ignored emotions are just gonna come back more powerful and/or show up in all types of seemingly unrelated, and certainly destructive ways. Accepted, loved and un-judged emotions will dissipate and reveal a lesson if you are open to it.

The problem isn't emotions, but rather how we habitually interpret them. Emotions ARE NOT a commentary on life, a situation or how someone treats us. They are a natural gift from Source, a barometer/compass that tells us in real time if our thinking aligns with the ultimate Truth of ourselves as God/Source/the Universe sees us.

Very basically, if you feel "bad" (emotionally) in any way at any time, your thinking about yourself is out of alignment with Truth. If you feel "good" (emotionally) in any way at any time, your thinking about yourself is in alignment with Truth.

This can get confusing like when say, someone insults you and you get angry. You get the "bad" emotion because there is, at least, the smallest grain of sand part of you that believes what they said is true. But Source knows that it is not so you get a little jolt (or big jolt, depending upon how much of you agrees). That is your cue to turn inwards, find and give love to that part of you which needs it.

God Universe fitted us with a perfect connection to him/her/it and to "get out of it" is like saying, sever your natural unbroken connection to your maker. Impossible and you actually don't want to do it.

I have never attempted to date someone who was my boss or was higher up than me. I have had a couple female bosses that I was interested in, but never tried to make a move. 'We're being pressured into sex by some trans women'​

So to rephrase, one of the partners in a lesbian relationship wanted to partake in penile stimulation and thus trojan horsed the concept by inviting a Trans Woman. When her girlfriend rebuked the idea, she bullied her and called her transphobic.

Another lesbian woman, 26-year-old Chloe*, said she felt so pressured she ended up having penetrative sex with a trans woman at university after repeatedly explaining she was not interested.

"I felt very bad for hating every moment, because the idea is we are attracted to gender rather than sex, and I did not feel that, and I felt bad for feeling like that," she said.

So she willfully accepted a piping because she felt it was a woman with a penis and was disappointed that she didn't like it because the penis broke the illusion that she was with a woman.

I have a co-worker, let's just call her Karen (lol).

Karen likes to come into work every day and go on and on about how her good-for-nothing boyfriend and his good-for-nothing friends don't do anything. She has 2 kids with this guy, unmarried. One week he is cheating on her (so she thinks) and the next she is talking about cheating on him. I like to keep the peace at work and let people vent to me if they have to but this has been going on for a good 3 months now and I am tired of it. Karen is not a happy person and her drama is bringing me down.

How can I tell her that I don't want to hear this stuff anymore without her taking it wrong and causing tension at work?
